You just KNOW they’re going to partner her with some tall, handsome, rich, lantern jawed, ripped Übermensch (after they suitably mangina-up his character), because that’s what fat women all think they deserve. And think they can get.

I suppose the people making this were wise to only do a limited run. I can’t see this sort of stunt sustaining any sort of sales. Still, they haven’t yet quite figured out that feminists don’t buy comic books. Even female comic fans I know are disgusted and fed up with feminist pandering s~~~ like female Thor. and fed up disgust does not sell comic books.

Exactly the point that I was making. Fat Acceptance is almost always women – who still demand a tall, fit, ripped & jacked man.

I saw an article a few months back in which female Disney characters were recreated as men. The one that drew the most attention – and the biggest indicator of female entitlement – was Ursula from The Little Mermaid.

I still read, but I’ve come to completely drop Marvel and DC…and now, I guess Valiant. The bigger companies now just want to cater to the TV/film fans and, like Cap pointed out, none of them ever bother to actually to pick up an issue and they wonder why their sales are dropping. DC is down to around $2M last I had heard and it doesn’t look like their sales are going to go up any time soon.

The indie stuff is still really good, if you know where to look and which writers to avoid.

It seems like Marvel’s only replacing the really manly character, which is annoying. Thor has a f~~~ing fantastic story arc and then they introduced Thora the Exploiter and the writing became s~~~ immediately. Yeah, Thor was a bit of a pussy-begging mangina in the arc before, but at least it was cool as f~~~. Female Thor is the same thing over and over again, “I’m Thor now and I’m hitting you because you disagree with the feminist agenda!”
