    The party starts in your mid 30s. I had a lot of female peers, and they could be unusually snide, catty and cruel – especially in the company of “gay best friends”. You know what I’m talking about.

    But suddenly, they’re SO nice to me now. It’s almost creepy. I had to hold back asking “do you even remember what you were like back then???”. Over the last 8-12 years, they have completely different faces on. Unrecognizable.

    I know at least 2 dozen examples of this who I have bumped into every couple of years or so.
