I don’t remember seeing any news reports about the Manchester bombing on television (in the USA). I didn’t watch much television in 1996 because most TV shows were annoying.

Not much European news gets broadcasted on American local news channels. There was a lot of coverage of the Oklahoma City bombing, though.

    If you can’t get one

Can’t get one. Cuomo keeping everyone SAFE. But a Remington 870 is a good substitute.

Not to digress too far off of BS’s original topic but I believe The Halifax explosion in 1917 is still the largest non nuclear man made explosion (it was up until the 80’s at least). 2000 dead and 9000 injured in a small city in Nova Scotia in 1917 when the Norwegian vessel SS Imo collided with SS Mont-Blanc, a French cargo ship laden with high explosives. I had to read Barometer Rising as a kid.

I did not know about Manchester in the 1990’s (I most likely heard about it and forgot) or Texas. It is crazy how quickly something can go to s~~~ but we rebuild hopefully better than before…and take whatever lessons we can.

Everyday above ground is a good one. Everyday above ground while single...better still.

I’m sure a Remington nail gun modified using .22 copper sonic pellets is good start to a home made bolt action zip gun that will fire with considerable accuracy and deadly force, the barrel, handle, and firing pin mechanism are already there!

I bet I could convert mine in a matter of minutes for single shots! un-crimp the shells and crimp the pellets in just like it were a bullets and there you have it! Load and FIRE!

.22 Pellets pushed by a .22 powder charge will go through somebody or make a real mess if it shatters a bone!

S~~~’s got modify me written all over it!
