So once again, Hollywood is blackening and womanizing white male characters! I was angry that they’re going to do this to Ariel, now James Bond, and supposedly Dwayne Johnson is going to play Jack Burton on the remake of Big Trouble In Little China whenever.

I’m all for giving more diverse roles to black actors. Fu​ck knows we’ve been tokenized and typecast for far too long, but isn’t the little mermaid supposed to be dutch or swedish or something? Casting a black actress into a whitefish role like that is like casting John Wayne as Ghengiz Khan.

I don’t think there’s a big anti-West, anti-male conspiracy behind this movie remake. I think it’s just a lazy ripoff. A man is at the centre of a successful and popular franchise (007)– so let’s remake it with a woman as the lead. A black woman. Oooh, look how progressive and edgy we are. Years ago, I used to buy movies all the time for my disc collection. I have several movies that I’ve enjoyed and seen many times. I can’t remember the last time I bought a movie on disc. There’s just nothing good out there anymore. I wonder if there ever will be again.

Look at a few previous anti-white, anti-male movies. For example 2016 Ghostbusters. Those behind the film knowingly make a movie that is insulting to the fans, then when people point out the flaws in the movie and do not pay to go see the film, those making the film falsely accuse the fans of being “bigots”.
