Not sure if this flashed by my youtube automated feed by defect (The last time the damn youtube play automation system tried to transition to a bunch of TheYoungTurks videos.) But I came accross this example of probable conditioning. Between timeframe 0:35 to 1:17 you can hear a kid’s interpretation of a man’s role to accommodating a woman when going out. Then a male kid jumps in and spews out one of the most troubling ideologies. Followed by a girls’ perception of a “good guy persona”

I’m not sure if I’m looking into this too seriously, but I hope his opinion is based on observation rather insidious reinforcement by his caregiver. The female kids’ responses didn’t really merit wonder from me, probably because where I’m from, that’s usually how “little princesses are raised to think”. They say kids are the future of tomorrow…seeing things like this doesn’t at all entertain the notion of a bright future.

If my opinions don’t matter, I don’t matter. If I don’t matter, my money to buy something for a woman doesn’t matter and is not needed. She can buy her own gift or have her strong independent girlfriend get her something.

Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.

When I was the kid’s age, “girls” didn’t even exist in my mind.

Not to worry, that little boy is going to learn who Chad is once he gets into high school.
