What kind of garage would you like to have?

My dream garage would have about 4 sports cars (including a Porsche Carrera), a rolling tool chest with a variety of tools, shelves, neon beer sign, dart board, a small refrigerator stocked with cold drinks, gardening equipment, a bicycle, and storage space for boxes of stuff I’ve collected over the years.

Also: a variety of useful items: motor oil, antifreeze, WD-40, STP gas treatment, washer fluid, super glue, duct tape, etc.

My dream garage… First I have to get my driving licence and the garage itself…

    But then it will include:
    – The old but reliable MTB I use for commuting,
    – My Iron Horse Sunday DH bike,
    – A car, that looks good, very reliable, cheap to maintain, and has a big trunk (that fits a bike without taking out the wheels), and I will keep it clean inside and outside of course. It is a lot more likely for me to carry some big things that to carry four to five people. I have really no clue why most of the good looking sports cars are for 4-5 people. Maybe, I will ask a mechanic to remove the rear seats to make trunk larger. Or I will get a small jeep maybe. I expect to use that car for travelling around by myself to various places, and bring a bike along for commuting (no need to find and pay for a parking place in crowded downtown) or for some downhill biking and taking good photos.
-Yes, having some supplies is a good idea. Some motor oil, some liters of petrol enough to go to the next gas station, a bunch of tools (I have two big toolboxes right now), a set of rims with winter tires, vacuum cleaner, high pressure washer, and even more tools (I have yet to check out what I am legally allowed to repair or maintain on the car by myself.)

-Having drinks in garage, or being drunk near your car at all is bad idea. Let’s say, you are slightly drunk, and open the car to get something out from the passenger seat. Of course, the key used to start the motor is on the same key chain which you used to open the car door. Then in his situation, a cop can go there, make you blow the alcohol detector, and arrest you for attempting to drive drunk (whatever you say). This thing really happened in my country.
-But of course, some cold mineral water and soft drinks, ice cubes in the freezer, and a coffee machine or some energy drinks is a good idea.

My avatar picture is of me sitting in mine. Currently a work in progress. I recently took a new job as a crane operator in northern Manitoba to pay for all of this. That’s my ’72 340 Duster in the background receiving new quarter panels and other goodies. Always have friend over for drinks and such when time permits. I’m on a 3 week in and 1 week out schedule so time is short but have to make hay when the sun shines. Woman HATE it when a guy has something, a car ,bike whatever. They view it as “competition ” and woman hate competition.

My dream garage would look like a fancy auto showroom with fancy cars lined up in rows. I would like to have glass doors to the main house, brick walls, neon signs, my Built FORD Tough metal sign, neon clock, which I have a blue Pontiac clock.

Being a crane operator sounds like a great job to have. I’m fascinated with shipping ports—it’s my merchant mind at play.

What you need is an airport hanger.

My dream garage would include a bunch of high tech servers as well as gaming computers. It would look like a smaller version of Tony Stark’s garage in Iron Man. That way, I can blast music while I’m fixing cars or when I’m working on computers.

My garage would included a lifted truck, a Turbo charged 800 class snowmobile, an ATV, and a dirt bike. With all the tools needed to tinker with them. Currently have a truck(not lifted), a snowmobile(not turbo charged) and a quad. Still looking to build the garage in my yard though.

Ok sort of living the dream right now. I have a 2014 Chevy Cruze, a 2014 Kawasaki Ninja 300, and my prize my 1989 Mustang 5.0 Notchback 5spd black with grey interior. Doing some work on it each summer until complete then keeping it forever!
