"You must marry!"

I was returning home from an event on friday in a public bus.

There was a ‘pastor’ who also boarded the bus and when we were about leaving the bus stop, he got up and started preaching.

He said a lot of things I agreed with like: people in my country being “over religious” and how they are”always disturbing god” instead of actually taking actions to improve the nation’s situation. But as a no religion person , I wasn’t really paying attention.

The part of his ‘preachings’ that got to me was the marriage aspect. He made points about how important marriage is and how women should be “quick to marry” because there’s no time on their side (hitting the wall). I smiled a little (and you know why). But then, it seemed the holy spirit/ anointing got the better of him (no offense to the christian brothers here) as he started yelling “you must marry! you must marry!!… It is god’s order!!… you must marry!”. Not that any of this got to me as I have no ability to fall for that form of brainwashing but I looked around at other passengers and they seemed to completely agree with him.

Anyway, that’s not the reason why I made this post. The reason is because the “you must marry” statement reminded me of the mandatory marriage laws in Eritrea.. Then the question hit me: what if other countries (especially western ones) decide to make this kind of law?

I said “especially western ones” because most of the men here in other parts of Africa are still being sensitized to marry under the brainwashing antics of “married man is responsible man” and “it is god’s order” and they fall for it. So women here really don’t have a problem finding husbands except those ones who have, of course, hit the wall so badly or those who are uglier than a sick dog’s s~~~ in all aspects. And besides, polygamy (although not compulsory) is a big aspect of most tribes when it comes to marriage – men in the past were made to feel like the more wives they have, the more mature and responsible they are. So most men over here feel like they’re SUPPOSED to marry. But, most modern African men are learning from their forefathers and are sticking to just one wife (while they f~~~ mistresses on the side).

As for you, western men (MGTOW men to be precise 🙂 ) :
I’m kind of afraid for you guys because women are beginning to lose their powers very fast and a time might come when they will take desperate measures like cajoling the gynocentric/mangina legislature to make laws that will force men to enter marriage or risk long jail terms. They might use excuses such as “population is decreasing” and other similar ones to make sure their plans come to fruition.
Please watch out when such a matter starts coming up….

If such a thing becomes a success in the west, other (gynocentric) countries in other parts of the world might just start considering such laws.

That was a heavy blow. So true. Best not to speak for the Almighty. Unless you can cure the blind or walk on water. If so, I’m the first in line to hear all about it.

Jesus Christ was MGTOW! He avoided the trap of marriage. That takes a definite level of wisdom.

That’s one way to stay happy in a marriage. Time tested and proven.

An interesting difference between how men cheat, and how women cheat. A woman will cheat, and monkey branch to the next best option.

A man will f~~~ a mistress on the side, but usually, stay loyal to the wife. Will not leave her for the mistress. Certainly some do, but the majority of men, even when cheating, remain loyal to the wife.

Women do not.

And it’s business as usual for the Church. That the priests do not marry, but then advise you to do so, is a remarkable level of hypocrisy.

It is not about god, religious people live due to donations and what believers give them for their rituals etc.
It is a business matter: less people=less believers=less money.

Saint Paul was outspokenly against marriage, and for celibacy. Paul did not believe marriage was God’s order. Of course, his congregants differed. They weren’t going to be talked out of making babies by some evangelist. (Reverting to paganism was an option in those days.) Thus he wrote the famous quote, “But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.”

Most denominations encourage marriage for both priests and the lay people. Celibacy for priests is mainly a Roman Catholic idea.

They been saying the marriages they doing are down by a lot. I read some where that in the past few years its gone from 35 to 40 a year marriages they do, and now to 1 to 5 a year. That’s a massive drop.

If they ever made marriage compulsory, the same law would have to remove all financial compensation during dissolution otherwise jail still looks good

It’s been mentioned before here that they made gay marriage legal recently in most places. You don’t get children from those either, so one of the lawyers might be able to speak to equal protection under the laws.
