    “Good fences make good neighbors”

This morning thousands upon thousands of women marched in protest all over America as well as some cities across the World. I’ve in an urban downtown and all I can here is the cackling and “wooing” of these angry women. Women really will stop at nothing to complain and demand what they want.

It got me thinking. Yesterday one of the partners at work was talking about when you get older you have to choose what to let go of. (In reference about a townhome he was renting out)

There are too many things pulling your time and energy and if you don’t be careful it is easy to get sucked in.

The world is not a peaceful place whatsoever. It is in constant chaos.

If one is to ever obtain a level of contentment you must build walls around yourself to keep out the chaos. I’ve created my list below of how build some walls around yourself. Feel free to add to it.

    – Women only seek to validate themselves and their agenda. Keep them out of your personal life as they will only disrupt your sense of peace and balance. If you choose, date casually and on your terms, never get sucked in or marry.

    – Maintain your friendships. Connections with others are healthy and add a sense of enjoyment to your life. Limit your friends to people who make you feel good about yourself. Eliminate those who are mere acquaintances or seek something from you.

    – Stay off of social media. It only seeks to add a level of toxic information to your brain. If you must use it for work or scheduling events, check your account 1 time per week. Do not add an social media apps to your phone. They are time sucks.

    – Do not watch the news or get sucked into reading news/information websites. Choose wisely if you must know what is going on in the world around you. Don’t get sucked in.

    – Do not get involved in politics or the personal affairs of others.

    – Eat healthy and take care of your body. Go to the doctor for a physical every year. A big one is getting your teeth cleaned regularly. This will cause problems later in life.

    – Drink water and lubricate your body as you would an engine. I also believe in taking fish oil and flaxseed oils daily.

    – If you can afford it get a massage at least once a month. It is good for your body and spirit.

    – If you can afford it build a small sauna in your home and use it daily. You can also purchase one for a few thousand dollars. Studies have shown that is may reduce dementia later in life. It is also a great stress reliever. The Russians, Romans and Turks all knew the benefit of a steam room.

    – Exercise in small doses. There is no better way to stop exercising than by doing too much of it. You’ll hate it. I can’t stress that enough. Walking around the block or doing 10 pushups a day is a good way to start.

    – Get a dog. Take the dog on walks and learn to take care of it. It will become your trusted companion and friend. The dog will add value to your life and reduce your stress.

    – Learn a hobby or skill. I enjoy acrylic painting, fishing, off-roading in the mountains, golf and archery. Never stop learning and doing things you enjoy.

    – Only do things you enjoy. If you hate your job, find a new one. If you can’t stand someone cut them out of your life. Don’t like that pesky neighbor, move. Do not do something begrudgingly as it will only disrupt your sense of inner peace.

    – Travel. Really travel and experience a place for what it is on a deeper level. Travel off the beaten path, find out where the locals go, do your homework and discover things that interest you. I enjoy random road trips around my state to photography old abandoned ghost towns.

    – There is no shame in a rub and tug or escort every now and again. Use review sites before embarking on your quest. If others have rated someone then you should be fine. Be safe.

    – Volunteer or find someway to give back. Make some time to try to help those in a position worse off than yourself. It will make you feel good and give you a sense of accomplishment.

    – Take pride in your work. If you have the entrepreneurial personality build a small side business. Do something that interests you and take it one step at a time. Learn, read and ask a lot of questions from those smarter than you. You do not know everything. Tackle it by tasks. If you accomplish just 1 small thing a day it is a victory. You don not have to build it all at once. Think. Never stop thinking. If you don’t have an interest in starting a business do something that doesn’t burn you out emotionally. Long commutes are killers of your joy. Your sense of peace is worth more than all the money in the world.

    – Learn to repair things around your home and car. It is both rewarding and will save you money.

    – Make smart decisions with your money. Do not spend all that you have. Learn to save part of your paycheck. Open a Roth IRA and start saving for your retirement. Get a credit card but PAY IT OFF every month; it will build your credit rating. Be diligent about paying it off. Do not go into debt or if you are in debt work on paying it off as quickly as you can. When you can start putting some money in a work 401k and contribute to it with every paycheck. When you can, buy an investment property and rent it out. Hold on to it. Buy another one and repeat.

    – Enjoy drugs on a limited basis if that is your thing. I dabble in marijuana and enjoy a time or two per week to relax and let my mind drift off into a creative stupor. Be very careful with drugs but cocaine, MDMA or shrooms won’t mess ya up long-term. I’ve tried the last 3 only one time but I’m glad I got to experience those things.

    – Drink good alcohol if you drink at all. Nothing will cause a hangover more than cheap booze. Drink in moderation to relax or do not drink at all. I rarely drink more than a beer or two these days as my body can’t handle it.

    – Do not let the opinion of your family influence your life. Your family has their own agenda for you. Live your life for yourself only.

    – Be humble and kind. When you get c~~~y that’s when karma will slap you in the face from nowhere. Being hateful and angry towards others and the world around you will only cause more issues for you internally as well as draw attention. Everyone is fighting some kind of battle best to agreeable to others.

    – Know that everyone has an agenda. Know that in business and in life everyone is trying to get the best deal they can. Be strong in negotiations and know when to walk away. People will at least respect you.

    – Live in a clean environment. Try and de-clutter your life of unnecessary possessions and things that spark a negative emotional response. A picture of a family member who you dislike or a letter from an old girlfriend… Throw it out! You can only live in the present moment. Clean your home at least a few times per month. Learn feng shui principals and make your work and home environments as clam as possible.

    – Lastly, try to understand that the world doesn’t care about you. You will die and be forgotten in the vast sands of time. It is difficult but try very hard to maintain your walls and not seek validation from those outside of your walls. When you seek validation you only give your inner peace away to someone else who has the ability to crush you or make you happy. Living on edge like that is not healthy.

Welp that’s all I got for today.

Great post , would even suggest to stick this one up.
And also: sometimes its okay to be c~~~y/zero f~~~s given – dont let other people use you.
But you have to find the balance of when to be kind and when to be c~~~y ….
( mostly depends from surroundings and situation )
