I think too it plays into the cultural fantasy that many young men have of teachers they’d like to bang.

Thanks to social media and the internet, women are craving more and more validation through attention. It’s like a drug to them and the competition is fierce. Men her age and older are getting wise to their s~~~ so the only avenue left for women is to target younger and younger males. At my former university, the Education students were pretty much not the sharpest knives in the drawer. I have a feminist cousin who is so in your face proud of her Doctorate in Education. If she had one in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, or an MD, I’d be impressed.

I would guess this happens much more with women teachers then men. The vast majority of teachers are women and very few men would believe they could get away with a stunt like that.

Besides, if it was a male teacher, there is no way that fact wouldn’t be mentioned in the article heading.
