Hi guys.
I’m your 18 years old average french type of guy. I’ve been raised in a catholic household and mostly by women as my father got excluded from my life because of child custody and the f*cked up judiciary system. No surprises there, I grew up as blue pill mangina with no self esteem and the “girls are queens” as a philosophy, which gave me nothing but sh*t throughout my high school life. I got out of the religious bullsh*t pretty fast thanks to the Internet but since then, religion became a “taboo” when I’m around, as if it was blasphemous of me to hear about it.
I’ve never been the social type, I’m a loner and don’t really crave contact with other people but everyone around me would push me to find a girlfriend. Again, no surprises, I got into two relationsh*ts, the first one ended brutally with my gf breaking up on the phone after two months only to find herself a guy way older than her in the next week. The second one lasted for almost a year but the amount of sh*t I went through to keep it together was colossal, I endured way too much and had a mental breakdown, which finished drying up her vagina you could say. I could list all the things I had to deal with but you could summarize it into an “abusive relationship”.
After that, I found out about anti-feminist/SJW videos on Youtube (My ex gf is a feminist by the way), then the red pill philosophy and finally MGTOW. I started lurking in forums, reading a lot of you guys’s life experiences and decided that it was better for me to live the MGTOW way of life.
I won’t participate much in conversations, I’ll mostly lurk and take advice from you guys since I’m still young. I’m also at a crossroad in my life, I don’t know if I should keep going to college or just quit my studies and find more common jobs to gain some life experience. I’m really indecisive but lean highly toward quitting college. I’m quite bad when it comes to studying and the fact that having a degree won’t even guarantee an appropriate job for me is a deal breaker. Only my mother is OK with my decision and thinks that it’s my life and as long as I’m not making really bad decisions, she won’t keep me from doing what I want.
Sorry for the long story but I needed to get this all out and seek help from you guys. I hope to hear from y’all soon.
greetings and welcome!

Anonymous54Welcome Mancloud!
You dont have to be very old to realize women are not going to bring you happieness.
I went to the 8th grade. Beleive me, the more education you have the better off you will be. If you can tolerate school, you should finish. IMO.
Glad your here!

Welcome mancloud.
Going to college straight out of high school is the ‘normal’ progression that society wants you to follow. And you need to do it IF you plan on having a family and kids, since there won’t be time for college after that.
But in your case, take your time, get a few jobs here and there, see what you like, travel a bit and see where you would like to live, then go and get yourself the training/school/certification you WANT. Enjoy your life man, you are free and you have all your adult life ahead of you. I am sure many here envy you for having found MGTOW at 18, I know I do. So take advantage of this knowledge and build youself the life YOU want! The answer is NO. “I could but I won’t”. Memini murum!
Thanks for the replies! And to answer you Old Sage, I don’t think college will give me much of anything. I have to study for 5 years minimum and pass a really elitist competitive exam (30 seats for 1200 students) in order to have a degree that’s worth something but still won’t guarantee any job whatsoever. I’m really pragmatic and to be honest, wasting 5 years of my life (in the most optimistic scenario, meaning I don’t fail any year and pass the exam first try) for a degree that will only add 300 to 400 bucks to my paycheck and keep me from building any life experience is… not a good deal.
What’s more, I don’t have any real goal when it comes to what job I want. I know I want to travel a lot and do road trips but, so far, I haven’t found any job that motivates me to study my brains out.
Hence my decision.Depending on what you mean by travel, here are a few jobs that do not require a degree, allow/require you to travel and some even pay good money.
Cruise ship crew.
Truck driver.
Tour guide, fishing guide etc.
Machinery/software installer.
Sailor.
Pilot.
I’m sure there are more. The answer is NO. “I could but I won’t”. Memini murum!
Welcome, Mancloud. You’re among brothers and friends.

That being quoted, I will for sarcasm’s sake, play devil’s advocate. (you can’t/don’t use sarcasm with women – ergo this is out of respect for you).Sarcasm= do what’s easier – if it’s easier to quit getting an education, then do so. Build it as a habit = this is hard so I quit.” After bouncing off the sides downward, you will find yourself lower than you thought possible.” End of sarcasm.
Keep working on your education.
It will give you a stronger mind.
It will give you a brain that is an asset rather than a liability.
It will prove that you have the mental discipline and tenacity that employers value. If you give it everything and fail, that is far more valuable than avoiding failure by quiting.
Growth does not occur without stress. Grab the bull by the horns.
Hope this helps you."It seems like there's times a body gets struck down so low, there ain't a power on earth that can ever bring him up again. Seems like something inside dies so he don't even want to get up again. But he does."

. Only my mother is OK with my decision and thinks that it’s my life and as long as I’m not making really bad decisions, she won’t keep me from doing what I want.
Ignore your mom, find something in college that really excites you and go for that. Something in a growth area like biotech or artificial intelligence.
Remember guys, Mancloud is in France where there is an absurdly high unemployment rate, and even “joe jobs” are incredibly hard to come by. For example, just to be a f~~~ing WAITER there, you have to have a year plus of schooling and a certification/license.
I imagine that spots in the university system are equally hard to come by so if you have one, FOR F~~~S SAKE TAKE FULL AND COMPLETE ADVANTAGE OF IT.
money.
Cruise ship crew.
Truck driver.
Tour guide, fishing guide etc.
Machinery/software installer.
Sailor.
Pilot.Again, waiting f~~~ing tables takes a degree in France (literally). It’s doubtful that any of these jobs are readily available to him, and if they are, there’s donzens of others waiting in line behind him in case he doesn’t sufficiently kiss his bosses ass.
Trust me kid, STAY IN UNIVERSITY. A few years of s~~~ will make a huge difference over your lifetime. Especially in France from what I can tell.
Work it backwards: Go on craigslist (or the French equivalent) and find out what jobs ARE in demand, and work towards that in Uni.

I agree. If you have trouble studying then you need to study more until it becomes easy. I have 6 kids through 2 marriages 3 went to collage 3 did not. The 3 that did make +65k – 110k a year own homes and nice cars. The 3 who didn’t I eventually had to kick out into the world and they are still struggling. If your 18 you can be done in 4 year and that’s a small amount of time. Get a tutor if you need one.

Jeez…you didnt need to repeat it!hahh
I dont know anything about collage. But with out it you will have to say..I have a high school education. For the rest of your life.I geuss it has has to do with what line of work you will go into weather that matters or not.
In my own defence..
I got 2 years on Jethro Bodine!!Thanks for all the replies, as I said, I’m still indecisive about it and I’ll use this year of college to decide myself.

Anonymous0Welcome home, Mancloud
Apprenticeships are good way to go too.

Welcome good to see so many young crew coming on board
THE PLANTATION HAS NOW TURNED INTO THE KILLING FIELDS . WOMAN ARE NOW ROLLING CAMBODIAN STYLE .
Welcome aboard! Just because you are 18 doesn’t mean you have little to contribute–all viewpoints are welcome, and us older guys get forgetful and sometimes we need the younger guys to remind us of what it was to have the perspective we once had at your age. So jump in!
Welcome brother.
First off, great avatar. Borderlands f~~~ing kicks ass.
Second, regarding career, education, etc. I know in the US the government publishes data on what jobs pay how much, and if there are supposed to be more of a certain type of job in 5-10 years. I’m not saying “choose a career based on how much it pays”. I am saying if you don’t know what you want to do, at least look at the highest paying jobs first, especially if there are going to be more of them in like 5 years.
Bonus points if the skills are valuable internationally. In the US we need a lot of medical professionals over the next 10 years. Some of them pay very well. And you can always move to another country with those skills, because pretty much *every* country needs more medical professionals. Same with engineering.
