Yesterday I offended a woman at work.

Polite and professional is my motto at work. But still, I managed to offend a woman at work. An attractive 20 something, I’m old enough to be her grandpa. Here is what happened: Every day I like my sugar-free Red Monster. I do not like drinking out of those wide-mouth cans so I put a straw in it. Then physics took over as dissolved CO2 condensed on the straw causing it to slowly float up out of the can. Remind her of a penis slowly becoming erect? I don’t know, but I get dagger stares from her. Moral of the story: Absolutely ANYTHING can and will offend a woman.

I agree. Don’t you also just love it how they feel they can call you “Love”, “Darling” etc as well as place their hand on your shoulder etc?

If that was reversed it would be sexual harassment.

I don’t talk to anyone at all and kill off attempts at conversation very quickly.

I offend a woman at work EVERY DAY.

It used to be unintentional genuinly innocent unrelated s~~~ so I thought f~~~ it lets have some fun.

I love stopping to hold a door open when the woman is still several metres away, and then smiling “come on through love” just as she gets to the door. She’s so happy to be treated like a princess but instantly offended at the word love.

Plays with their tiny minds. Been in front of HR loads in the past but a company will rarely fire somebody bringing in actual money.

You can only take offence, not give offence 🙂 That woman is choosing to be offended, she needs to be more realistic; it’s a straw and nothing more.

 

This leaves me wondering why she’s seeing phallic imagery so easily, why does she have c~~~ on the brain?
