    I was put on this as a child. I’m curious to know how many other MGTOW affiliates have been.

    “Yellow pill” is a new term for me. What is it?

    You name anything recommended for “ADHD” and I was on it

    I wasn’t prescribed any thing regularly growing up, but I was in the doctors office in high school to get a pretty bad ingrown toenail fixed. I was freaking out a little bit, which I normally don’t do. The doctor gave me a yellow pill and it was F~~~ING AWESOME!!!

    I generally shy away from medication unless I absolutely need it, but that one experience made me aware of how powerful mood altering medications can be. Before that I was stressing out a little bit about some extreme toenail clipping. After that pill if the doctor had come in and said, “On second thought, we’re just going to take off that pesky leg.” I probably would have given him a hearty, “OK Doc!”

    I was on adderall for 5 years with the final dose of 120 mg/day
    In the end – I still couldn’t perform my job duties and was fired.
    After I quit it – it would take me an enormous effort to concentrate on anything, and later I had to learn how to do everything from scratch pretty much.
    I still struggle with procrastination, but I am never getting back on that s~~~

    I spent a fair few years on medications and although good for the short term … ALL …. medication will f~~~ you up in the end.

    What worries me is that now … not only are we being medicated for physical and mental pain …. but also from social pain ….. and that scares the crap out of me.

    That is a great point,

    I think psychology has it all wrong, they band-aid you with drugs and use the same psychology song and dance addressing everything EXCEPT how f~~~ed up society really is. Discovering societies flaws are your own responsibility and it can get depressing going down that rabbit hole…

    One word of caution, if you are taking any psychotropic meds, and you wish to get off of them, do it slowly, lowering your dose slowly until you are off. Just going cold turkey on some of these drugs can have serious consequences.

    Because in order to be able to think, you have to risk being offensive.

    @uchibenkei, Huxley nailed it.

    @bulletdodger, It is a fact that mass killings and suicides are all too often done by men on psychotropic drugs. There is a very vocal minority speaking and writing about this. Why have the mainstream media and national politicians ignored all this? Because, drug companies give them money by the truckload to look the other way.

    Yeah 🙂 I know the feeling exactly.  got put on amitriptyline for a bit.  For me it was horrific. Like being on zombie powder but if you take 2mg of diazepam with it W O W.  relaxing beyond words or imagination. then ^10^10.

    Very good advice here too.   Got told by a supposed medical professional to taper of my meds over 3 days and ended up in a very bad state.  It should have been at least 3 weeks.  What a fkn useless prick, makes me wish I could secretly sneak meds into their food for a month then cut them off cold and see how they like it.

    Never fuck a crazy chick.
