Well now.
It’s a wild animal, not your best friend, not the family pet.
It is a wild animal that is omnivorous and will eat you.
Bears are not Winnie the frikkin Poo.
For the very rare instances of a “tame” bear behaving in the context of the BBC video, that bear had previous “domesticated” experiences with humans which is the ONLY reason it would allow such proximity to a human. PERIOD.
Walt Disney et al did a great disservice to humanity as a whole, although they did help out in the Darwin Awards nominations.
Respect the wildlife, because people are food to them.
A friend of mine had 2 of his sons ( 12 and 13 yrs old) killed and eaten by a black bear who crossed their path on a fishing trip. He only recovered partial bodies.
