Key, how the f~~~ have you learned so many languages? I consider myself to be a sort of language guy, but I studied Latin pretty intensely for two years, and was really never able to read a sentence, and the only reason I can get by reading in French is because English is mostly French anyway.

Oh, don’t be too impressed. That was all Google translated as a courtesy. I don’t speak a word of Spanish…. except:

• “leche de a madre”….. (mother’s milk)
• “El tenador del diablo”… (the devil’s pitchfork)
…and….
• “Por favor, donde esta el bagno des hombres” (where is the men’s room please)

Officially my first language is German (i have family there), and I was fluent in French about a thousand years ago. I speak more Russian & Japanese than Spanish. I have lived in 6 cities internationally and had a job that took me around the world a few times. But I speak & write more programming languages – and classical music – than I do any others.

German is still difficult because the fork is feminine…. the knife is masculine … and a spoon is neuter.
In English, it’s just…….. “the”.

And the verb comes at the end.
Example: “I to the store went”.
It still f~~~s me up.

After six weeks in Germany, I come back to English sounding like Yoda.

The problem is, I have no detectable accent. I sound JUST like a German. So when I make a small grammatical error in Germany (or I forget a pronoun) I sound like a f~~~ing idiot over there. A German lady laughed at me once because I called the wall a “he” instead of a “she”. I just turned around and asked her in English: “Oh Im sorry, what do YOU call it in English?” She was stone-faced shocked because my German sounds otherwise perfect.

It actually sucks.

But then again, to a German, “heard”….. “herd” and “heart” confuse the living s~~~ out of them.

The kind of person who won’t even type a sentence in response to that is only to be ignored. These people who make demands and want your f~~~ing time are too lazy to even write back. They don’t deserve a f~~~ing thing.

While I do understand Cir’s predicament in regards to his English/Spanish/translation format of the forum’s and even if I overlook the fact that he thinks that his issue’s are more important than mine, I can not disregard the stupidity behind it all. He seems like one of those folks who think that their time is more important than any one else’s. F~~~ that, we all have a finite amount of time and if you want it you better pay for it as KM suggested.

BOT, seems like it’s better they do this, than to die out. I wonder at what point they decided they have to do this, must have been lean times to go that drastic.
