Just look at the histories of the areas mentioned.
Us primates of pestilence (humans) were, are, and will always be tribal. The only time “we” become “one” is when “we all” have a common enemy, once we are done ripping that enemy to shreds, we merrily go back to doing it to ourselves, because our “tribe” isn’t the exact same.
The only time there will be “lasting peace” in our species is when the last human regardless of its supposed “advanced state” draws breath.
    Its in our coding.

There was a time in my life when I gave a fuck. Now you have to pay ME for it

Just love all of you guys with your war strategies and tactical planning on how the US should deal with Iran.

Funny. Iraq which started in 2003 did not work out that way.

Comparing the differences between urban warfare and jungle warfare, etc.

Fckng mind blowing. No consideration at all regarding the human equation.

I have no skin in the game either way. I was 19 when I tried to get into the military and my flat feet were beyond the point where I could get in. I basically have duck feet. Borderline Kevin Costner’s character in the movie Waterworld.

So I’ve never been to war. But last year went to a buddy’s funeral. He did three tours in Iraq and survived it all. Just didn’t survive the bullet he put in his own head last year.

Stopped by another buddy’s place last week. His parent’s house. He lives in the same room he grew up in as a child. Served in Afghanistan and Iraq. Survived an IED. Currently gets a check from the VA every month. Is on meds, has recurring symptoms related to having been forced by the military to take Mefloquin when he was deployed. Literally watched when he was given it to make sure he took it. Lives in his room at his parent’s house. Never leaves at night because he is afraid he will be captured. And his ex-wife is remarried and raising his kids with her new husband.

Call me when you mother fckers are ready to go to war – and kill innocent civilians. While being a tool used the military industrialized warfare state.

Because nobody would be talking about Iran if there were billions of gallons of Gatorade or Red Bull under the ground in that country.

Its sad that so many Vets kill themselves. I was nearly one myself but surgeons saved my life.

Serving in the Armed Forces is like any other work for pay gig, youre expected to put your head down and get to work. And the issues that men face are ignored, diminished or completely swept under the rug. Whether youre a Sales Rep for Gatorade, or a Mortar Man in the infantry, its the same work for pay routine, and whatever problems you have, ARE YOUR PROBLEMS because THEY dont give a fvck about you, not Gatorade brass or US ARMY brass. The difference with the Armed Service is that its rigorous psychologically & physically, while also being incredibly dangerous.

War hurts people bro. The men that come back from war, are not beacons of mental health. It comes with the profession.
The employer, our government, could do a better job of helping MEN, but also the same could be said for every employer. And also, its a WAR, no matter what sort of help they put in place to help these men, WAR is still gonna damage people.

Its in our blood as humans, to act in WARFARE. And we are scarred from it, or killed, and this is natural. Even if there were no governments, we’d still be killing one another. But I do agree, its a shame that VETS kill themselves. Its the abrupt adrenal and military culture cessation that does them in. You go 800mph a day in a platoon full of men for a few years, then suddenly are sipping coffee and coasting thru a 9-5 job full of spoiled civilians… its like being wheelchair ridden. They turn to drink or violence. Self harm or other modes of escape… Athletes and other professions also have cessation.

Anyway. WAR IS HELL. GLAD IM NOT IN ONE BUT ALSO WISH I WAS! The pay is lousy though! Just spent the last week, in my free time, constructing this music video.
