Hi ll,
Been a long time lurker her with some previous comments posted regarding my situation.To re cap…Australian male..44 yrs old…22 years LTR …2 awesome sons…her cheating and drinking ways had me kick her arse to the curb.
Anyway …further on ,I am working in the Northern end of Australia after being offered an awesome job . My 15 year old son is with me .
Coming into the job , it is an office based environment that has seen us now grow to 14 blokes ,all working under one woman….yes pussy pass as she is painful.
The role I am in requires a certain level of expertise and a working knowledge related to the oil and gas and mining industry.So for the unaware ,the dollars are and always will be in the high 6 figures area.
Demographic makeup of the team is interesting .Ages range from around 35 to 55 , with the female supervisor being around 33.
out of these , the current situation is as follows.
4 married and still together ,2 with young kids.2 with grown up kids.
One older guy , never married ,has 4 houses, travels the world , off to the states shortly for a motorbike holiday.
Another older guy , never married , several apartments , large share portfolio, travels to Asia on a regular basis,looking to retire in Thailand.
One other bloke , no kids ,no wife , spends his money his way on whatever he wants, just bought a 5k bike for his exercise routine
The rest of us …. all been cheated on , divorce raped , monkey branched.. .all with stories to tell regarding cheating , lying , divorce rape , still paying child support in some cases .
The point is , all these guys , some who are electricians , and have been earning good dollars and providing for their families or partners who dont really do much apart from take money. It goes to show , no matter what , GYOW so everything you make is yours , everything you decide to do is your decision and there are no other outside influences that you need to make happy .

Many ways, but most of the time, it’s a quota thing, if they don’t have the technical skills.

There have been a few I met who were in relationships with a director/senior manager.

Nice intro.

Just thought I would add, just give a heads up to the guy heading for Thailand.The women there will try to get you to buy with them as the named partner (who owns 51% as per Thai law). Then will kick you out when it suits you. You can buy leasehold condo’s. The rules have been relaxed abit, but just watch out.
