I was wondering what everyone’s thoughts on the new Wonder Woman were. I remember her character always having a bitchy feminist motif from the Justice League Cartoons.

The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll whisper "no."

More c~~~ shove into male spaces. Women are not heroic, more often than not they’re villainous.

Can’t swallow the bulls~~~ anymore, I stopped buying movies until the wonder c~~~ and c~~~ sucking f~~ and mangina standard in every movie disappears.

Either way it disappears, except with my way I have more time for my life and f~~~ theirs!

Hey Hollywood, you don’t have to go f~~~ yourself! I’m doing it for you!

Actually it wasn’t bad. They didn’t push the feminist agenda. It was more of a “stranger in a strange land vibe”. In the opening of the movie you realize they are saying she is for all intents and purposes, immortal. Which is not really canon with the wonder woman story line but that’s a minor gripe.

It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion, it is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shaking, the shaking becomes a warning; it is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion.

I didn’t think it was a feminist tripe shoe-horned in like “Ghostbusters”. I think it was a validly decent movie. And the Amazons are an OLD concept.

And she wasn’t powerful because she was female, she was powerful for other reasons (not to be stated, because spoilers).

In fact, she seemed to be wavering, until the example of a self-sacrificing man inspired her to act. I’m sure feminists could find a few things to dislike, if they looked into subtlety.

All my life I've had doubts about who I am, where I belonged. Now I'm like the arrow that springs from the bow. No hesitation, no doubts. The path is clear. And what are you? Alive. Everything else is negotiable. Women have rights; men have responsibilities; MGTOW have freedom. Marriage is for chumps. If someone stands in the way of true justice, you simply walk up behind them and stab them in the heart-R'as al Ghul.

I’m willing to give it a go if the only gyno-s~~~ coming from it is the fans and not the movie itself.

    Let them have their fantasise.
The problem comes when they think its real life and we have to endure their girl power bulls~~~.

The difference is, we all knew Superman wasnt real, just pretend.

I haven’t seen it, but whether it intentionally pushes the feminist agenda or not, portrayals of women fighting and kicking men’s asses only propagate this bulls~~~ notion that women are as strong as (or stronger than) men, which only proceeds to increase the already artificially inflated egos of women worldwide.

    No thanks.

To be honest, it wasn’t as preachy as I thought it would be. But it was still preachy with little feminist tid bits. Notice how Ares corrupted only the world of men, how the greatest Amazon scholars deducted that men were only useful for reproduction and not useful at pleasure (despite never being with a man, cough cough), or how she equated a woman serving as a man’s secretary to being akin to slavery. There wasn’t a lot but it was still there.

On a side note, I remember her bracers being able to stop bullets. I don’t remember them being able to protect her from lightning, fire, and poison gas. Can’t help but notice she didn’t even have a scratch on her throughout the whole movie despite being blown up, electrocuted by lighting, barraged with heavy artillery, and fighting an actual god.

I’m to the point now that when something strikes me as remotely being about some kind of women’s empowerment or the usual “you go girl!” BS that’s in the media I just walk away from it. If it’s not about that stuff, it’s still not a loss because it comes from Hollywood. And if it is, great. I just missed seeing another religious show about worshipping the golden gash that produces blood, p~~~, and babies.

so I finally watched this movie while flying international. jesus christ, i don’t understand why this movie was so hyped up. At best, it’s on par with some of the better batman movies (if we’re comparing DC), and that’s being very generous.

it didn’t go overboard with the preachy feminist agenda, but it was there and quite obvious. At least they had the excuse of the 1940s patriarchal society.

Found it interesting that they have this so called, strong feminist heroine, and her character is basically following the lead of the man (and her mother before that), complaining, and whining about stupid crap for the entire movie(just like in real life), and maybe half the time in the movie, she’s justified for it. But in real life, it’s like none of the time. And if it wasn’t for her imaginary superpowers, she’d be useless at the war front except for sucking c~~~s in a brothel.

They kinda picked a kim kardashian look alike packing tons of makeup as well, which was also irritating.

There’s tons of inconsistencies and holes in the story, i guess none are the size of a deathstar, but I’ve grown to accept them with these types of action movies.

Yeah, and if you have 100 guys with rifles trained on you, there’s no way you’re going to be flicking bullets aside with your bracers, as they’ll be coming for you from any and all angles. It is pretty convenient that they only shoot at her in areas where she can deflect with her bracers.

in actuality, none of that s~~~ should have affected her from the start since she’s supposedly a god.

Personally I enjoy empowered feminist hero’s that wear thigh high boots and tight corsets. That’ll teach those sexist pigs.

How can a woman be expected to be happy with a man who insists on treating her as if she were a perfectly normal human being.
