Me and a fellow apprentice were talking at work in the break about what studies could be useful. I was talking about maybe an engineering study or a digital security study. Suddenly some of the other female colleges butted in with: “Why not womens studies?”. Now the friend I was having this discussion with my friend “George” and he knew my opinion about that study. Now let’s play dumb.

Me: “So how is that course in any way useful, and what the hell is it about?”

Her: “It’s a bit about everything, things like politics and social science”

Me: “And how is social studies useful?”

Her: “How is not useful, society is built on social science!”

Me: “I am pretty sure society is built on rivers of blood and a mountain of corpses”

Now it was pretty silent, while everybody is waiting for the next question I decide to give her another question so she can at least have a chance because I’m such a “nice” guy.

Me: “So if it’s a bit of everything doesn’t that mean that you are under qualified for almost every job out there?”

I see her going in deep though and decide to stand up, take my cup of tea with me and leave with a departing: “Sweetheart, if you are going to suggest anything in the future, please keep your mouth shut and if I may?” I see her nod almost mechanically and end it with: “Why not go buy a book about manners and etiquette? It will help you in the future”.

I smiled and just back to the office and that is how I am now the “jerk” among the workers.

That was a bit rude IMO. But it’s your job…

Being the “jerk” is not such a bad deal, so long as it does not inhibit your career path.

I’m a jerk too. Must admit it. However, I found a way to stay on the good sides of my bosses and superiors. Thus, I was able to accumulate enough of a cash surplus to get out from under their collective thumb altogether.

Full disclosure: Investing cash surplus in rental real estate did the trick for me. Nowadays, I live financially secure (as far as that is possible), and I work for no one but myself.

I did it. You can too.

Women’s studies is an incredible waste of time, money, and effort. It is not a bit if everything. It’s a whole lot of nothing. What hard skills does that program bring? The social sciences are all low paying even if you get a PHD and teach. It is nothing more than a program that teaches you how to be a victim.

If it costs you your peace of mind, then it is too expensive.

The fundamental flaw with gender studies is that it is a study of women by women. The notion that women are going to be honest about themselves is rather laughable.

Women’s studies is an incredible waste of time, money, and effort.

It’s worse than that, it’s a cancer that has ruined further education in the West.
