Women, Sexy Clothes, and Negative Attention

It annoys me to hear women complain about being sexually objectified by men when they don’t exactly dress like nuns. If a woman covers up her body, to me, that gives me a sign that she wants to be respected and taken seriously. If she’s wearing a dress shirt and a long skirt, I’m more likely to keep my eyes on her face when she talks to me.

However, if a woman wears extremely tight yoga pants, mini skirts that are almost at crotch level, shorts that show her bare ass cheeks, and open shirts that shows half of her jiggling/protruding breasts, I’m going to look. Everything about my biological makeup compels me to look! And I resent being shamed for it by militant femtards who want to police female objectification while making excuses for women dressing like prostitutes.

In the gynocentric world, it’s always the man’s fault for not controlling himself. Men must be respectable, and show restraint at all times. They shouldn’t stare, whistle, hoot, holler, “hit on,” touch, or enjoy the view in a manner that makes scantily-clad women feel uncomfortable—unless they are rich and famous, of course.

Women are free to dress how they want, but men aren’t free to lust after what they see. We’re just “creepy perverts” who constantly annoy women with our libido. It’s an “injustice” to women if they can’t have an environment to express their sexuality, overtly, while feeling safe from the men they sexually excite.

I have respect for the Saudi Arabians, although I wouldn’t want to live in their society. They have a dress code for women that makes it easier for men to have respectable social interactions with them (without the constant stimulus of T & A).

It’s another double standard. If I were to wear a pointy white hood and white robes then people would assume I am a KKK member. There would be no point at all in me saying “Just because I am dressed like a Clansman it doesn’t mean I am a Clansman”.

But I do feel people on their own time can wear what they like. My problem is in the workplace where women dress like they are going to a nightclub or about to swing around a stripper pole. I do not understand why they can wear short skirts and high heels and yet on a hot day I can’t even wear a pair of shorts.

As society decreases the space in which men may act on their sexuality by engaging women (think restrictions on what men can say/do at workplace, college, social gatherings) women will do the old tried and true, showing more of themselves in slutty clothing. Many women who wouldn’t normally dress in such a fashion will feel compelled to as they have so restricted men being able approach them under normal social conditions, they will need to find way to encourage men to break through the very barriers they themselves have erected.

In the end, women have set up the perfect storm of a problem for themselves. Don’t objectify me, but but…wait…please notice me as a sexual being you desire. No don’t. Well, ok, maybe a little.
