This is interesting, women setting all time records for: attending college, not getting married AND living with their parents; all simultaneously. I guess women can “multi-task”. Given more access to be independent, yet they become increasingly dependent. Who knew?

One would think going to college and not getting married would make them strong independent career women, capable to live on their own. Guess again.

portion of young U.S. women are living with parents or other relatives, largely because of higher college attendance and delayed marriage, a research report said on Wednesday.

The Pew Research Center analysis of U.S. Census Bureau data showed that 36.4 percent of women ages 18 to 34 lived with family in 2014, mostly in the home of mother, father or both.

The number tops the record set in 1940, when 36.2 percent of young women lived with relatives, the analysis said. 1940 is the earliest year for comparable data.

Among young men, 42.8 percent were living with relatives last year, below the 1940 high of 47.5 percent.

“The result is a striking U-shaped curve for young women – and young men – indicating a return to the past, statistically speaking,” Pew said.

Young women are more likely now to be enrolled in college than in previous decades, with 27 percent of them college students last year, the report said. That compares with 5 percent in 1960.

Last year, 45 percent of young females in college, including those enrolled part time and at community college, lived with family. Among those not in college, a third lived with family.

Many young women are putting off marriage compared with those in previous decades, making staying at home more likely, the report said. In 2013, 30 percent of young women were married, compared with 62 percent in 1940.

The share of young women living with parents or other relatives bottomed at 20 percent in 1960. The upturn increased sharply after 2000 and has not reversed despite a labor market recovery after the Great Recession of 2007-2009, the report said.

I thought this was common knowledge. Women shame you into getting your own place, so they can move in. Most are homeless, transients, living with family, and/or in debt. I have no interest getting my own place and paying someone else’s mortgage. My family owns several properties, so I may rent out the place I am staying in, but honestly I just want to hit the road again.

That’s another reason marriage rates collapsed. I would say dating may be down but it really isn’t.

Look at those numbers, over 40% of men are living at home. if those 40% are “losers” then there really aren’t many men left to go around for women. Most MGTOW seem to be part of the under 60% crowd that does live on their own, but if you’re taking that out too it’s slim pickings.

But women deserve it, and most of them suck too. This refusal to deviate from the feminist party line is really pretty amazing.

If I was a psychopath elite, I would just try and kill off most of the male population, utilize robots for most of the menial work, and then have a pliant population of worthless females that will never question anything at all. Of course, our elites may have that planned, but they took the liberty of feminizing most of the males. Perhaps us MGTOW will be targeted since we don’t accept the programming.

It’s clear women don’t actually have a problem with being alone or anything. Only in their late 30s and beyond do they make some rumblings, but give them cats and that goes away too.
