Because it’s not a real proposal when everything is still stacked in her favor, she can leave whenever, and she gets paid to do it.

And on top of that, as I have said so many times in the past, after a certain age, men are just done. The trick is to trap men when young and keep them trapped. Women never understood this, and were convinced they were getting a bad deal and could get better terms for themselves. They came at it with the idea that men had no value and that women were all invaluable at all ages. That they could just use social pressure at worst case and get whatever they wanted.

Only losers stay thirsty. For high tier men, if they’re not trapped before their libido drops and their reason develops and matures, it is all but impossible to trap them.
