Was stuck in train delays today and took the opportunity to do an impromptu survey:

I was at the main station in a major UK city and I was thinking on this very subject.

I would say at least 90% of the women, of all ages, were glued to their smartphones, tapping away like morse code operators.

There were plenty of duck-face selfies going on as well, again of all ages.

Most of the blokes I could see were eating, talking (to other blokes), reading (kindle or real book) or working (on laptops) and quite a significant percentage were having a nap.

There was a significant amount of manginas, possibly a convention, who did pretty much the same as the women.

Many of the women had blokes with them and, on the whole, the blokes were ignored completely by their phone tapping partners.

Apart from one teenage couple making out in the corner there was no obvious significant interaction between couples.

Let them have their phones and we can all get on with our own s~~~ while they bitch to each other on whatever messaging platform is currently popular about “where have all the men gone?”
