    It’s really worth a read…welcome to the present & future of the U.S. Navy all-volunteer force. The poor Navy spokesperson gets tied up in knots to avoid addressing the issue. Women sailors using pregnancy to avoid serving their country because it isn’t fun. (“What, we’re NOT doing a Mediterranean cruise? We’re going to the Persian Gulf?!?!? Uh, how long do I have before we deploy? Oh, no problem…”

    Since I served twenty years in the Marine Corps (and yes, we’re suffering from the same issues), I’ll leave the rougher comments for the current and retired Navy servicemembers to make.
