At some point, actually at many points, a man has to show affirmative interest and take action, or nothing will happen. It seems you’re talking about a particularly bratty kind of woman. Admittedly these are many, but some women do invest into a relationship, I’ve had several that were very invested in me emotionally.

It is true that a woman’s love is conditional and will get over you more quickly. But a woman who’s into you will give a lot in the way of sex, cooking, cleaning, friendship. Which is an investment even if it’s more in the present than how we as men tend to approach things long-term.
