This is a very detailed and interesting study.
“”We built voice modulation to mask gender in technical interviews. Here’s what happened.””

    http://blog.interviewing.io/we-built-voice-modulation-to-mask-gender-in-technical-interviews-heres-what-happened/

So even trying to cheat by masking women’s voices as men and vice versa they still didn’t get the results they expected. “masking gender had no effect on interview performance”

As it happens, women leave interviewing.io roughly 7 times as often as men after they do badly in an interview.
This is where the feminist disparity and gender gap comes in for STEM fields. Basically those who perform poorly in a few interviews give up entirely while more men continue to try.
Once you factor out interview data from both men and women who quit after one or two bad interviews, the disparity goes away entirely.

    A few comments I liked….

“”So let me see: you set up an elaborate project that was supposed to prevent the alleged discrimination and the whole thing blew up in your face, proving that there isn’t any gender discrimination in the first place! Ha ha … Astonishing that the assumptions of your leftist ideology did not match with the reality. Maybe the computers themselves somehow became gender-biased, hm? You have to investigate that next.””

“”This is sexism against men. Nobody should try to get any kind of parity in anything. That’s social engineering. Why isn’t anyone concerned with parity for men in nursing, veterinary, dance etc.? Because those don’t pay much. People only care about trying to force women into higher paying jobs.””

“”I really don’t care for this question man vs woman. Because if I cared it would probably meant that I am biasing for a side, which I don’t.
I know some women that kick some butts on development. They are awesome and they are widely recognize by their abilities.
But for every woman like this I know at least 5 men with same ability or better.
This is just my experience over 10 years””

Women are so bad, if they changed the law so I kept the house, I still wouldn't marry one. I'd rather be homeless.

Another reason feminists & SJW’s fail to consider is that perhaps most women simply aren’t interested in
    STEM careers.

Try to get that point through thier thick, opinionated heads though.

Lifes a bitch, but you don't have to marry one!

I don’t have a single female employee. Not one. Every time a woman has applied there were always several significantly more qualified men applying for the same position. And it goes beyond mere applications and CVs etc. Every final interview involves a tour of the business. Any applicants who show an actual interest in what we do, asking to go into the shop floor and poke things on the bench, get an immediate boost to their application. Thus far no woman has shown any such interest, though they all show a keen interest in the compensation and benefits package. I highly doubt any voice masking software could change that.

Remember also that most women who are in tech still do this as a job only – while men, and especially the really good ones, do the job because they turned their passion professional.

In real interviews, if you can give a decent hobby project related to what you are applying for, that is a huge bonus.

Women aren’t interested in Working Period. There only doing it to meet a computer nerd who has a lot of money. That’s all that is.

    Get him to marry her.
then divorce him. Take half, retire.

    Thank you, very interesting indeed.

MGTOW aside, I don’t know any compter geek types who would rather come to work every day and see MORE geeky dude type with questionable hygene habits.

ARE THEY F~~~ING SERIOUS WITH THIS S~~~?

This actually marks the point where I completely jumped ship with feminism. Back in my blue pill days, I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt: Maybe women do have a harder time of it? Maybe they are just as capable in all things? etc etc you know the bs.

But when they went after the tech industry, they made a HUGE mistake. Computer geeks were raised on Star Trek and similar mythos that taught us not to judge a being by any physical characteristics – including gender (or even lack thereof). Hell, we’re even open to non-physical beings being equals. You name it.

But the simple fact is: Nobody ever picked up a chick by showing off their awesome shell scripting skills.

For whatever reason, it’s simply NOT THAT INTERESTING to the vast VAST majority of women out there. Whereas for the geeky tech guy, making a computer do something new and interesting is a worthwhile pursuit all on its own, for women in tech, learning those skills are a necessary stepping stone, annoyance even, towards getting the job, and more importantly salary, that they want. Nothing more.

It infuriates me that they would turn around and blame/accuse the one male group that has basically always been in their corner, always rooted for and hoped that they would see an interest an aptitude in tech as having a SMV (Sexual Market Value for newbies) at least as equivalent to having a felony record and neck tattoo. Always hoping the women folk would come join them and share in their appreciation for beauty in computation.

    It never happened.

And now they turn around and have the tamarity to suggest that somehow it’s the guys’ fault that they can’t or won’t do the job. Mind you there are exceptions, and those exceptions are, in EVERY CASE I have seen in 20+ years of tech, accepted and treated as equals and judged purely on the merits of their results – just like all of their male counterparts.

A year or so ago, I was the hiring manager for a tech position. Systems engineering with a heavy emphasis on database work. We got one, single, female applicant out of hundreds. One.

And she was so pitifully underqualified that I told her up front after a few badly (un)answered tech questions that she wouldn’t be a good fit, and then proceeded to give her some pointers on how she could brush up and get her skill set in order for a job of this type. To give you tech guys an idea, I asked her to go over the process of setting up mysql replication, and she hadn’t even heard of mysql before. Ya, it was that bad.

I work in tech. We have a fair amount of women at my current job but most of them are garbage. They just collect a check. The few that are good are excellent though. We just did a round of hiring and there was one female applicant in the entire batch but she didn’t qualify for an interview.

Women are absolutely TERRIBLE at anything that actually requires a brain and logic. The ones that aren’t are more like men than women. And by that I don’t mean they’re gay or bulky or don’t bathe or whatever. I mean they THINK like a man. They don’t like makeup, they can think logically, and they’re not an emotional basket-case like pretty much all “normal” women. Women like these I can stand to be around. Unfortunately they’re EXTREMELY rare. Like 1 in 10,000 at most.

More women go into gender studies so they can complain about how women aren’t getting into the stem fields. Why didn’t they just get a degree in the stem fields? Because that actually requires effort and critical thinking, things not present in gender studies.

Feminism is a movement where opinions are presented as facts and emotions are presented as evidence.

    That is bat s~~~ conclusion.

They already have data that men on the average technical score 3/4 versus women 2.5/4
And their voice modulation have no effect on that.

And the data Man with a woman voice is rated slightly better then man without while women with a man voice is rated slightly worst then a women without.

Now they blame women lower result because they leave interview 7 times more then man?

But I get it, the article cannot be published if there are no excuse for women shortcoming.

There is no magic in MGTOW, just recognition of the truth and logical decision how to avoid dangers. The red pill is but the truth, it is no magical potion. Do not think in this modern world men have no longer have natural enemies, men are prey to women and government.

When I worked for Giant Corp, we actively tried to recruit women into our tech areas. A competent woman would move to the front of the line. Even so, we never met our HR quota.

Oh by the way, we weren’t allowed to refer to it as a quota, but that’s what it was all the same.

A lot of women who get STEM degrees are barely competent in their field.
I have run across SOME highly skilled female engineers and physicists but it is like
finding a Magnetic Monopole…(a physics analog to a Unicorn). It is a very rare event.

What normally happens is the woman with the STEM degree gets hired then gets herself put on the management
track because she can’t solve technical problems.

….and she’ll do just a terrible job in management as well.

Waaait… What about all those movies where the technically adept, beautiful slut-bunny saves the world from destruction by virtue of her intelligence? Do you dare suggest they should eat horse s~~~? Say it aint so!
