This has been something I’ve wondered about for years:
I used to manage a team of security officers for Wells Fargo. (Don’t get me started on what a bunch of moronic, SJW, politically correct corporate policies exist in that world). I hired a really bright, young Sudanese gentleman at one point who had an amazing story about surviving a UN refugee camp in the Congo that was napalmed by rebels. His sister actually died in this event and only about 300 refugees survived. The survivors were then sent all over the place and my guy ended up in the Midwest of the USA.
After about 2 months I knew this guy was solid. He was never late, had a young family to support and was very kind/smart. This guy had a degree in software engineering and was just biding time in the position I hired him for so the fact that he even took the job seriously was to his credit. This officer called me one afternoon and told me that his father was being transferred from a prison in the state of MN to a work release program in the city where we were. My officer was asking if he could come to work 15 minutes later in the mornings so he could get his father to wherever he would be working. Of course I helped him out.
The reason for the fathers incarceration/situation was due to some woman accusing him of raping her daughter in MN. Apparently there was a drawn out court battle and the father ended up getting tagged on a lesser charge and the whole thing appeared to be erroneous, but the father still had hell to pay and did hard time.
I had this job for 4 years and what I’m about to mention happened only once. I got a call from my area supervisor stating that Wells Fargo HR had fielded a sexual harassment complaint on one of my officers. Obviously, I knew this was going to be some s~~~. So the story was that this Sudanese officer was coming out of the men’s room and made an “inappropriate physical gesture” at a woman who was standing in between the male and female rest rooms while on her phone. The “inappropriate gesture” was the officer coming out of the restroom, hearing a woman’s voice, and thinking she was talking to him because he didn’t notice she was on her cell phone. She claimed he “turned and winked at her, and then made guns with both of his hands and moon-walked backwards while saying HEY and pointing”. This was absolutely absurd. This officer would never have done this. You should have seen the confusion on his face when the HR person assigned to this case was regaling us of the woman’s story. His first reaction was to ask if he could make it right with his accuser and apologize for any misunderstanding. Of course that wasn’t possible.
So I had to change a bunch of schedules because this officer had to be moved to an entirely different building where this woman didn’t work. All because of a woman’s complaint about something that never took place. I thought it was very odd that both he and his father had felt the wrath of being accused of “sexual misconduct”.
My question has always been, what do women stand to gain from going after foreign men in this way? These men clearly don’t have a lot of money, so what is it that encourages this kind of thing? I’m fully aware of the crazy factor, but would think there would be a little more than just ruining someone’s day/week/month/life to motivate these bottom feeders.
