They’ll give it a go, one way or another, probably starting with a kicker, and all the men will get the word: “NO CONTACT”, or fake contact.
I disagree. Football is about as cut throat, kill or be killed, game out there. No guaranteed contracts, you can be cut at any time. Let some female soccer kicker go out there and screw up and lose a team a chance at playoff money and see how long she lasts. And I don’t mean that as a chick thing, they do it to men. All it would be is equality. You f~~~ up, you’re cut for someone better.
Hell look at Kap and Antonio Brown. Brown was given chance after chance. Why? Because he’s really really good. If Kap were worth the baggage he’d be on a team right now. He went to the Super Bowl and then everyone watched tape on him and realized he wasn’t that good at throwing the ball. So blitz his ass every play. His numbers were s~~~ the next year. Same with Ray Rice, he was used up. He was mediocre at best and not worth the fallout of the tape of him punching his wife.
Cost / benefit. Some pass it, some don’t. And chick kicker isn’t going to pass if she can’t put the ball between the uprights.
TaxGuy, Football is scripted, like wrestling. It’s been that way for a while now. All the so-called Franchises are equal-owners. They share the total profits. The original Laywer who blew the whistle was “found dead” the very night he blew the whistle. It was mum after that. Haven’t you noticed something really weird about the way games are broadcast now? Whenever there is a controversial call, or even totally ridiculous call, there is never any broadcast replay, except maybe one bad angle, and the broadcasters just move on without talking much about it. It goes right down the memory-hole. It’s one gigantic fvcking conspiracy and everyone’s in on it. For the money.
The outcome of the games are controlled in two ways now. First, the games are kept extremely close. In the old days, there were lots of games won by 30 or more points, at which point both teams fans would turn off the TV. Major loss of ad revenue. NOw… keep the games close, keep the fans watching. Problem solved.
Second: the games are predetermined, and the pass interference call and the holding call are the two calls the refs use to “guide” the score.
That’s why New England always wins the Superbowl. Because New England is not a city with a finite number of residents (fans). New England encompasses several states = more fans / revenue.
Think back to that very first New England win against the Saints… After the kick, there were three seconds on the clock. But the refs ended the game. Actually, both teams stormed the field to end the game. Strange. That NEVER would have happened when I was a child. The Saints would have tried to run the ball back after kick-off and use those three remaining seconds to win the game. It was wierd. It made no sense to me. Go back and watch the clip. Now of course, it makes perfect sense.
Once I learned this, watching the game… it was SO EASY to see. But… people don’t know.
Now, stadiums are empty, and even though the seats are paid for, viewership is down. They will put in a female player to get viewership back up. I GUARANTEE it. They are hurting financially, and their beloved Patriots can’t keep the whole thing afloat by themselves.
We are living in the Truman Show, brother.
They probably haven’t put in a female player yet because then it will become more obvious how scripted it is (she will need protection from being hit written into her contract, of course), but with so much revenue loss, they may feel they just have to play that card.
There are now dozens of guys online detailing how the games are scripted. It’s all over the internet and the evidence is clear as day. And of course, anyone can go read about that lawyer who called it out just hours before he suddenly “died”.
