Excellent observation.If you make them happy it doesnt last long.You will wear yourself out trying to KEEP them happy. You will squander your lifes energy trying.

When I was married my ex and I went out to buy her a new car. She had been driving the same car for 5 or 6 years and wanted something smaller than the SUV she had to have when the kids were little. She was very happy as we test drove the car, picked it out, made the deal.

But you know it takes a hour or two to finish a deal at a car dealership. By the time we were done she was p~~~ed off. Mad as she drove home in her new $30k car (free to her of course because I made all the payments). Instead of celebrating that night, she spent the evening on the phone bitching to the hive about what a pain in the ass it was at the car dealership.

I think most women are hardwired to be a victim at all times. It’s an art form for them. If a bunch of guy friends got together after one of them bought a new car, he would be proud and his friend’s would be happy for him. But a woman has to downplay it and try to convince her friends that it was a need not a want, that it wasn’t that cool to get a new car.

I think that happens when something isn’t “earned”. My wife didn’t earn that car, I did. Somewhere deep down she felt guilty that she was a parasite that couldn’t earn it on her own. So you have to justify it as a need, find something bad about the experience, so you can actually complain to the hive. And they will sit and listen to that bulls~~~ because there will come a day when the next queen bee gets something she didn’t earn and she will want to spin a bulls~~~ story to them.

The guy with the new car is proud because he earned it, and his friends are happy for him because they know it.

Women want to be happy, men want to be content.

A lot of ladies seem to have the attitude that it is your responsibility to make them happy.

And they get p~~~ed off if you are not trying hard to make them happy.

I view this as another form of manipulation.
It is not my job to make any woman happy.

The minute a person is happy their body begins to adjust. The happy state is the new normal.

Studies on lottery winners show that 2 years after winning millions , they aren’t any happier than non winners.
