This is why insurance companies charge men more money for insurance, and this is why they’ve been able to defend this practice in many jurisdictions when accused with discrimination: it’s simply because that numbers show that it’s more risky for a company to insure a man than it is to insure a woman; it has nothing to do with discrimination.

If it were some conspiracy, and it seems a lot of you guys suggest, that men are actually responsible for fewer accidents, and women are responsible for more, the insurance companies, by charging women less, would be LOSING money. It doesn’t make any sense.

In the USA, insurance companies used to charge women more for health insurance (for the same reason they charged men higher for car insurance: because they were a higher risk), but then Obamacare made that illegal.

But the factual “data” already exists to anyone who has their eyes open. Men invented cars and test drove them 1000X before they even make it on to the road. Oh, I okay, I agree completely. The presence of a penis or a vagina does not a better/worse driver make. There are a lot of factors for why men are riskier to insure—more miles being one of them.

I just gave nationwide data of a FREAKING DECADE proving beyond the shadow of a doubt that women are far more accident-prone. I have also given 2 links on the previous page of this thread which show that insurance companies know women are worse.

Your logic about losing money is sound but your knowledge is half-baked. Men drive with more speed than women, which is why the small number of times that we DO get into accidents, it can be severe. Serious incidents are a bigger problem for companies than several small accidents combined.

Women are inefficient drivers, and cause a large number of accidents. Men are efficient and cause a small number of accidents.

In the US (and some other countries) driving is so easy – anyone can do it, especially with the help of GPS – I’m pretty sure one can teach a monkey to drive here. The freeway system and traffic laws were designed in such a way that even 100 yo grandma could get around in a car. Most cars have automatic transmission. That’s why there is not much disparity between male and female drivers.

In Russia back in the day – all cars were manual, roads were s~~~, there was no GPS and barely any signs – you’d have to know exactly where you’re going or have maps. That’s why the vast majority of women didn’t even try to learn driving, because it was WAAAAY more complicated
