@graybeard-2 I work in a star hotel as a receptionist and I have seen many rich older couples (mostly in their 70s) secretly asking the bell boys and housekeepers to buy lubes and condoms. They might be older, wives might be all dried up inside; but still many are doing it. These women’s sex drive might be very low, but if a woman wants to please her man she will do anything. It is not an excuse to avoid sex.

Answer to your question: Yes, she will lose the sex drive. But most of this comes from the emotional trauma. Sex is the best thing all women can offer men and drying up will make any women think she is no longer ‘pleasing to her man’. It’s a little bit menopause due to changing estrogen and testosterone levels . But in general when women hit 40 their sex drive takes a dump 3-4x quicker than it does in men moving through middle age.

It really does vary based on the females in her family that she comes from, how hard she is on her body, if she takes the pill (pill reduced sex drive in most women). If she has hormonal imbalances, glandualr issues (thyroid, adrenals, pituitary, etc). Lotsa stuff can affect it. Even if she is lacking b vitamins and d vitamins, doesn’teat enough protein normally, if she does or doesn’t eat a lot of soy stuff…

So 47 could be right on track for her based on her genetic heritage and what her lifestyle is, and if she has any medical issues.
