A woman accused of throwing her newborn baby from an 8th-floor apartment window in Uptown has been sentenced to four years probation.

Mubashra Uddin had been charged with four counts of murder for allegedly killing the baby girl moments after giving birth in her family’s apartment.

But prosecutors last week agreed to drop three of those charges and then reduced the fourth murder count to involuntary manslaughter of a family member. Judge Carol M. Howard handed down a sentence of probation.

Uddin was 19 when she gave birth around 11:20 p.m. on November 11, 2015, in a bedroom of an apartment she shared with her parents and sister. Police said they recovered scissors that Uddin used to cut the umbilical cord after giving birth in the same bed where her 11-year-old sister was sleeping.

Fearing that her strict parents were about to discover the pregnancy that she had kept secret from them, Uddin dropped the newborn headfirst out of her 8th-floor bedroom window in the 800 block of West Eastwood.

The girl was discovered about 30 minutes later lying in some grass by a passer-by. One hour later, she succumbed to her injuries, which included skull fractures, a broken spine, multiple broken bones, and internal injuries, prosecutors said.

Friends rallied around Uddin from the moment of her arrest, blaming her actions on the young woman’s upbringing in a strict Muslim family.

    Thoughts??

This is f~~~ed up. If it were a man that did this, he would be sentenced to at least 20 years in prison. Women get a slap on the wrist.

Marriage and Divorce for a man is like getting a cactus shoved up your ass. It’s painful with all the spines that go in and it is painful getting all the spines out, meanwhile Wifey gets most of the money, your home, your kids, and practically everything you own.

And throwing her newborn 8 stories to the ground was the solution, yes? F~~~ing c~~~s and their nonsensical excuses. How in the f~~~ do you even keep a pregnancy secret? The first signs will usually have people talking immediately, and she lived with her parents so you’re telling me the mother, father, siblings, or other relatives couldn’t notice the signs as well? The dumb bitch wanted to get rid of the baby no matter what and only used her parents religious beliefs as an excuse.

Even if her strict parents wouldn’t be too happy with the pregnancy, does it make them happier knowing their stupid bitch of a daughter is now a murderer too?

It’s only a matter of time before this will haunt her for the rest of her life. There are many kinds of prisons, and you can bet she travels with hers wherever she goes.

    I’m confused.

Was this a pussy pass, or a Muslim pass?

All my life I've had doubts about who I am, where I belonged. Now I'm like the arrow that springs from the bow. No hesitation, no doubts. The path is clear. And what are you? Alive. That assumes that she actually has a conscience. It is quite possible that she does not.

Looking at the picture I can tell right away she’s mentally unstable and a train wreck. She knew she couldn’t handle raising the kid at such a young age because it would mean having responsibility so she killed it in the most ruthless way and blamed it on her parents or religion for some pussy pass and can now go back riding the c~~~ carousel again.

    These bitches are so predictable.

I thought that too. But she “feared her strict parents were about to discover the pregnancy”, so if she is able to have a conscience about that, she will eventually comprehend what she has done here.

Women are more privileged than men. I have a male friend whose ex tried to murder their children. No prison and she still gets 50% time with them unsupervised. He had to spend $10k to clear his name when she falsely accused him of being the abuser.

Possibly. But the difference between the two, is that it wasn’t a conscience about fearing her parents discovering the pregnancy, but merely FEAR of what they would do to her. Maybe she’d get acid thrown on her face.

Kind of like a sadistic person poking a baby bear with a stick and then stops when he sees Mama bear approaching. Not a conscience, merely not wanting to get arm ripped out of socket.

I’m starting to think that I woke up in a parallel ‘Twilight Zone’ universe somewhere that’s inside out and ass-backwards. Is it just me???

    Venom-

    Thanks for sharing.
Wow. Reading articles like this is unsettling.

It seems like women can get away with anything.
I suspect if a lady set 20 kids on fire and stabbed her father to death with an ice pick she would still get off.

She would probably say, “I felt nervous because my husband wouldn’t buy me a new car. It’s all his fault.” And the police would then go on to arrest the husband.

We live in a crazy world.

I mentioned on a different thread how the Ancient Romans would deport a woman to a remote island for life if she divorced her husband for something ridiculous. I think maybe they were on to something.

Yet she could’ve dropped the baby off at any fire station or many other places no questions asked.

She just decided to have a later than normal abortion.

    Jeezuss!

But as much as anyone can see the pussy privilege as an “advantage” it definitely isn’t. Being able to get away with wrong-doing, and receiving constant coddling & figurative leg-ups is not a plus.

It’s mind-boggling to the degree women will even factor it in to their decisions, while pretending there’s such a thing as “male privilege”.

“Oh yeah, I’ll set fire to his clothes & take a baseball bat to his car – LOL!! . And I don’t feel like being a mom, so I’ll just drop the fetus off here, thanks. MALE PRIVILEGE!!”

A man expects to pay for his wrong-doings.
A woman thinks it’s her “right”.

Yet men go to prison for “spanking” a child, or not paying enough child support.

There was a time in my life when I gave a fuck. Now you have to pay ME for it

Is there any way we can throw the State out the window from the 8th floor and have the lady drop all charges?

Not in Canada. Setting the kids on fire would at least get her charged for generating excessive carbon emissions…
