Pure gold, and Italy has plenty of other things going for it, history, culture, great food and wine, beautiful scenery, pleasant climate, all the women look like a 20 year old Sophia Loren and think anal sex is a form of contraception and now enlightened laws too. What’s not to like?

It should be interesting. I’m curious if this is a hold over from the fact that the country is highly Catholic, as the wedge gets pounded between the sexes there you’ll see divorce and a fall in the numbers identifying as religious right before they get rid of this little gem of an offense.

I wonder, if she’s convicted can she be released into the custody of her husband to do the work in lieu of serving the sentence? Otherwise all he’s done is get her taken out of the house.
