What amazes me is that if a guy did the same thing, he’d most likely lose the court case and have to pay the woman. A woman lies about it, it’s not even a crime. A guy lies about it, he goes to jail and most likely has to pay fines to the state as well as money to the woman.

The guy used a dating app called Tinder. Just a warning for any of you who actually do end up having sex unprotected or not.

For me, the risks are far too high.

    Only 10k?

I wouldn’t know why he wouldn’t want more money. But, everyone’s blaming the guy because he’s a so called “player” or so they think. They’re not even blaming the woman, and lying about having STDs to your sex partner is a crime.

    Only 10k?

That’s what I thought the thread was about.

That is all a modern Western male is worth? $10k? A lifetime payment?

Even slaves cost more in room and board!!!!

$10,000? A lifetime of satisfaction is what this guy needs. A lifetime worth of money.

Venereal disease is one of the reasons I am not sexually active. I could not afford the treatment in the event I contracted one, so I am not willing to take the risk.

$10,000 for a permanent disease? Must be completely stupid.

lying about having STDs to your sex partner is a crime.

It’s only a crime if men do it, but we already knew this.

Venereal disease is one of the reasons I am not sexually active. I could not afford the treatment in the event I contracted one, so I am not willing to take the risk.

Same here, although it took a time or two for me to learn it. Fortunately for me, the kinds I got could be cured by antibiotics.

Edit: I did a back of the envelope calculation a couple of months ago. Based on the Center for Disease Control statistics about one-third of the adults in the USA have an STD. This is not good odds, gentlemen. Watch where you stick that thing!

Then there are the STIs, which lowers your odds even more.

Then there things like hepatitis, which can be sexually transmitted but are not on the CDC’s list.

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

I’ve been celibate for 15 years and I don’t regret it.

    I’ll just leave this here.

He seeks $10,000 as well as attorneys fees, unspecified punitive damages and other relief.

he is asking for more than $10 000.

7/10 people have STDs now in the world. I bet it’s even worse if you only use Western stats, as I doubt STD rates are high in the Middle East, South Asia and a few other places where they are very sexually conservative.

It was in a study I read not too long ago but did not see on these men’s sites. I think I remember the 7/10 number because it was pretty funny to me.

I don’t have herpes but a girl I was dating in a non-committed relationship, who traveled two weeks a month got herpes and told me I gave it to her. As this was not possible I just looked at her. Finally she came out with it, she wanted 350.00 to go away.

I was happy to be done with her, I didn’t want to get the herp’s so I paid the money and thanked my lucky stars.

Can’t say for sure what legal ramifications there are in this case, but in most countries herpes is excepted from the STD information laws as it can be latent but still contageous, so alot of people having it doesn’t even know they have it.

$10,000 isn’t a whole lot of money when you figure how fast that money can go. I would of sued for at least a quarter million. Either way, good for the guy. He’s standing his ground.
