Nottinghamshire police will now regard uninvited sexual advances and unwanted verbal contact with a woman, including catcalling or wolf-whistling in the street, are to be recorded as a hate crimes in a new effort to tackle sexist abuse.

So men will now be in danger of being arrested and treated like a criminal just for attempting to chat up a woman in the attempt to find someone for a relationship.

I thought things were bad here in the states. That one takes the prize. I don’t think it will stand up to a court challenge though.
A hate crime must include hostile or violent intentions and acts,wolf-whistling and cheesy pick up lines don’t fall under that definition.

The head of the Crown Prosecution Service, Alison Saunders, has pledged to increase sexual assault convictions by 1/3.

Unfortunately there just aren’t enough of these crimes to boost the figures … so they’re having to invent some.

So far this year 73 men have been arrested, charged and found not guilty.

You see the figures are counted on ‘charges’ not outcome.

So you can grab an innocent guy off the street, charge him, knowing he’ll get off.

No matter his life will be destroyed.

Gotta get those figures up.
