Red the OP’s 1st post. The guy is working himself to death. Seems DW wants a bigger house. Not just any house, but one they build for scratch. The simp is barely getting by as a doctor and she’s staying home. She wants to go back to work, after two more kids are in school in a decade or so. In the mean time SAHM, he works and now “they” want to build a custom home.

Reminds me of a guy I worked with whose wife wanted to change the drapes and due to that she got him to sand down and then re paint all the furniture to match.

He was older in his late 50’s I think and he got very sick not long after and never came back to work.

That’s funny you typed that. After I got married, I brought our lifestyle down to ensure she couldn’t make that defense. In addition, two years prior to marriage, I lowered my income to less than hers. She wasn’t entitled to anything. I am quite proud of that. :). Never again will I go through that kangaroo court.
