I just heard a new term from a co worker. Wife Deaf. As in I’ve gone Wife Deaf and can’t hear a thing she says.

    LOL. Just thought I’d share.

I can’t remember who … maybe Oscar Wilde … but they said:

“The best marriage is a blind woman married to a deaf man”

Its easy to ignore everything they say. You simply speak noncommittally and they are so enamored with their own voice they forget that you didn’t say anything anyway and just assume their answer….the same as if you actually answer them.

Great term. It’s true, when so much drivle comes out of their mouths and so much nagging, you can’t help it. I think I’ve developed the ability to filter out bulls~~~. It’s like white noise, you automatically filter out the unnecessary information.

This applies to all women not just married ones. It is the real life version of the movie Click with Adam Sandler having a universal remote that could mute or pause life. Men’s brain has a coping mechanism to switch this stuff on and off this is the only way we could survive for so long with the nagging.
