Other than the fact that one could say .. “been there and done that” .. just send Bots
I can’t think of one reason why a human should ever again travel beyond our own atmosphere. All space travel using Bots, instead ..
can do it for a mere fraction of the cost .. enormous savings .. with zero risk .. and send back anything and everything a human could ever do .. and even more by doing a better job .. over a longer time frame.Unless it’s simply for the long and tedious “thrill ride” of taking the voyage and possibly returning to tell the story or write a book .. there isn’t any need for humans in space .. the Bots can do it better in every conceivable way.
Won’t happen in our lifetime. The costs would bankrupt any government. Some day maybe generations from now, when wars and military spending have come to an end, then maybe through a global effort, such a thing could be done. With the ever growing population of the third world, dwindling resources, and greater pressure on the west to accept in those storming the borders, I don’t see war ever coming to an end.

More like government is to focused on bankrupting the people and sending the people’s wealth into the hands of the globalists.
It is likely the cost is far lower than what is projected, the problem is that to get into space as a reasonable cost requires using nuclear technology and the eco-fascists would rather start a world war than allow beneficial nuclear technology in space.
Well I think we need to start looking elsewhere because at the rate we are f~~~ing up this planet when that day comes we gonna wish we did. Problem is I don’t see our technology evolving quick enough to win the race. So perhaps you are correct.
Peace is > piece.
Our government always has enough money to spend on completely useless crap, so I don’t really have a problem with whatever the cost might be for this program. The problem with sending a man to Mars is twofold: First, the sun’s radiation would kill the astronaut after not too much time, and second, the prolonged weightlessness would soon render the astronaut almost completely helpless.
We just don't realize life's most significant events while they're happening. Back then, I thought, "Well, there'll be other days". I didn't realize that that was the only day. - "Moonlight" Graham
First, space programs are all about national prestige and making bad leaders look good! It makes leaders look really good. And then the sheeple take pride in their country. I think this is ESPECIALLY true for the manned missions. So that is 80% of the ‘why’. Let’s call 19% of the ‘why’ political paybacks to contractors that build rockets, etc, and then I’m left with 1% for ‘science’. Haha.
The Chinese initiated their lunar program in the early 2000’s. First they sent orbiters (Chang’e 1, 2), then they sent successful landers with rovers (Chang’e 3 and the recently launched Chang’e 4 which will land early in Jan 2019), and finally the sample return missions will be sent. The heavy lift Long March rockets they are working on, will be capable of manned lunar missions, and they WILL do it. Not for science, but for a ‘space spectacular’ to show China can do it. Impress the plebs. To their credit, they’re the only country that has landed rovers on the moon in about 40 years.
Even Long March 3B was very impressive — a soft landing on the moon and successful rover deployment. Incidentally, their space program budget is about ONE NINTH of the United States budget!
Faust: I agree, the least costly heavy lift schemes, are derivatives of Project Orion.
I’m fine with it all, IF IT IS PRIVATELY FUNDED.
We are only humans living on a tiny planet in an immensely huge galaxy which also pales in size in comparison to our ever expanding universe, and this universe might be just one of many universes.
Maybe it’s just me, but I think learning about this is just FASCINATING and well worth the investment.

They think men have screwed up earth, they can have their shot on Mars.
Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.
It’s all theater that’s why.

FrankOne. I read that with nuclear technology, a spaceship could get from Earth to Mars as quickly as two to three months. That is a workable amount of time. That is how long it took for the colonists of the 1600-1700 to sail from Europe to Americas, and many of them were in poor health and basically war refugees the 30 Years War. If such people could stand being confined together for three months without mentally cracking, and more prepared group can survive longer than that, as long as progress is done with a span of months and not years.

Perhaps, but then the question becomes “why the ruse?”
Such evidence makes a person more curious, not less.
The ruse is thinking we are an insignificant human in a vast universe..
Also a lot of tax money is being funneled into these “space missions”.

A lot effort for little return.
Have you ever taken a hard look at a book store? Rows and rows of books with nearly countless words, but nothing of substance. The only items you will find in book store is fiction, simple math and obvious concepts, and dogmatic interpretations of how the world works and how the world has reached the point it is at by the same groups of “academics” whom would gladly see us all DEAD and erased from history.
All of that “information” has been filtered and censored to be nothing but useless, mindless drivel.
Any real “information” is locked from public access by the same gatekeepers whom view us as unworthy of learning anything that is honestly truthful.
These same gatekeepers have barred any attempts to try to backtrack in hopes of finding the “truth” by walking back down the path we as humanity came from.
The way back is shut, and the way forward is the abyss.
Eventually, those whom seek seek the “truth” realized that to find the “truth” one must burn everything down, destroyed all the lies and false information, so as to start over in search of the “truth”.
There are reasons I took the title “Faust For Science”.
I have hungered for information due to, as a child, being intentionally denied an education by elitist whom believed I was unworthy of learning anything. They believed that lessons on different types of pain was the only education I deserved.
It hurts to know I will never be allowed to live up to even a noticeable fraction of my full potential.
I have spent the years attempted to research hard sciences and even religious information. No real luck in bookstores, nor the internet.
All the really interesting science is locked away in universities, and unless you have a fortune, it would cost you your freedom, due to becoming a debt slave, to gain in a slight bit of such information from such sources.
My life is worth more than the few crumbs of information that would be gained from taking that route for what I desire.
As for religious information. There is nearly an infinite number interpretations of what is publicly released by the gatekeepers, but nothing that outside of what it already publicly released. There are traces here and there, but nothing useful, nor tangle. Countless watered down interpretations with nothing that is in depth in the way that can be used for personal advancement.
To be red pilled is to realize that all the water around you is salty and you are so thirsty you would do almost anything for even a drop of pure water.

Did you know that Nikola Tesla invented the Rotating Magnetic Field “Polyphase Induction Motor” after some inspiration from Goethe? He had “Faust” completely memorized.
Interesting side note, but I agree with you about the state of sciences. I have found the Electrical Sciences to most intriguing. I started as I do with any subject, at the very beginning. I got Books from the 17th Century and worked my up to the 19th Century. When I got into the 20th Century something happened. A great change in Physics known as Relativity. Then the Military-Industrial Complex took it all over. The big projects were all done at Top Secret Military Programs, which the Physicists worked at. Since then it is not possible to get at the Truth because it is all now Top Secret. The cutting edge research is done behind closed doors and it is not available to the public.
Furthermore, it is my opinion that during this time the Military put out “Disinfo Agents” to intentionally put out bogus theories. This was done as a Military program to keep USA ahead of the competition (USSR). The Soviets did much the same too. Try and get your enemy chasing his tail in an endless Paradox loop. Sadly, many American School Boys get suckered into believing this Disinformation as well.

The only thing I can do and I recommend this to any like minded people. We have to pick up the trail where the trail went cold. That is early 1900s era. I can highly recommend anything written by Nikola Tesla, Oliver Heaviside, or J.J. Thomson.

Fascism as its most disgusting. Socialize losses and privatized profits, not just in wealth but also with talent.

That is one of the major problems. There are so many lies that it would be easier to destroy all of the information and start from scratch, test everything all over ago. This is time consuming, but the one way to find the truth.
You cannot build a stable building on a faulty foundation. You have to tear it all down to the dirt, start over with a new foundation, and build up.

The problem is all the used books out there from a century ago have already been thrown away or locked away.

True freedom… is usually to be found where there is fewer people.
All my life I've had doubts about who I am, where I belonged. Now I'm like the arrow that springs from the bow. No hesitation, no doubts. The path is clear. And what are you? Alive. Everything else is negotiable. Women have rights; men have responsibilities; MGTOW have freedom. Marriage is for chumps. If someone stands in the way of true justice, you simply walk up behind them and stab them in the heart-R'as al Ghul.
The Earth is a flat disk with a dome over it that can not be penetrated. It was called the firmament in the bible, although I am not a religious person. No one has, or ever will go to space. NASA is nothing but a movie and propaganda company.
If you have not reached the above conclusions, then you simply have not researched things enough, or you cant understand the proof.
Before you dismiss me….I am not crazy, nor ignorant. I am highly intelligent, and spent years researching these ideas and did not arrive at these conclusions lightly. We were all shown a globe in school, and brainwashed to think that we are insignificant specks in an infinite universe, flying through space at thousands of miles an hour. The sun and moon rotate around us, not the other way around. Do some serious research with an open mind, and prepare to have it blown.Watched a documentary about the Mars Direct program. Going to Mars could be done cheaply with already existing technology. The problem is every Nasa supplier wants to be included in some way, so the budget gets blown up ny a factor of at least 10, needlessly. Nasa is a joke.
I bathe in the tears of single moms.

I agree with this. Not only would it bankrupt any government, but it would also bankrupt earth itself. The resources on this planet are finite whether you like it or not. They would have to establish drilling and mining operations to every establish the heavy industry needed to support life in the long term. If you tried to do that based on what this planet has in raw materials, you accelerate the destruction of the globe by at least a factor of 10.
