Israel makes one heck of a missile defense system, buy and set up in South Korea and Japan. Along with the US system as back up,…NK is really decreased as a threat.

It seems that small-scale systems do work pretty well, such as Israel’s Iron Dome. The targets are fairly simple and are moving fairly slow, so it’s not impossible to shoot those down.

However, against Chinese or Russian ICBMs, I’m a lot more skeptical about the systems designed to shoot those down.

Libya was the most successfull economy in North Africa.

Then the Arab Spring hit and toppled everything. The region destablized and gave birth to ISIS, and other things. Those who wanted “freedom” at all costs, got what they wanted. Activists and destructionists all presume, if you tear down a system, suddenly everything gets better. Well, it doesn’t necessarily. If you see what happened in Iraq, once the Debathification happened, it was there. The repressive controls are lifted, and sudden it is looting and instability.

I would argue here that states that resort to despots aren’t able to manage their own affairs without such, because stability and predictability is worth more to people than uncertainty. It is safer. So, for civilization, despots are favored more, to impose control and order, to keep people safe. This cry also leaders to liberty and freedom getting crushed.
