I don’t pop on here often, but when I do I notice a recurring theme – pessimism of the future and where the world’s heading.
Now I do agree that the vast majority of society is f~~~ed, and I also agree that our current system is going bankrupt and will probably collapse soon…
Yet I’m still insanely optimistic… In order to explain why, I’m going to take a giant step back and take a look at the big picture as I see it.
Here’s a quick history lesson:
THE DAYS OF HUNTER-GATHERERS
As you all know, humanity began as nomadic tribes of hunter-gatherers. Climate change and other factors eventually led to the formation of agricultural societies. This agricultural revolution took thousands of years.
THE AGRICULTURAL REVOLUTION
As agriculture took a central role in society, the main source of wealth was the farmland. This new way of organizing society provided the average man with a higher quality of life, leading to more prosperity and more freedom.
The unfortunate side of this, was that farmland is immobile and therefor prone to being conquered. Over time, various religions became the centers of power in this agricultural society. For the sake of this argument, I will focus on Europe and the rise of Christianity.
In Feudal Europe, we had a system called Chivalry. Everyone pledged oaths of Chivalry to the Pope-King and the Church. In this system, a small group of maybe 10-12 men on horseback could dominate an entire village.
These groups were usually led by a Bishop, with several Knights under his command. They had swords, bows, and armor. Hell, even their horses had armor. These groups would rape and pillage the peasants, demanding not taxes, but something called a tithe.
This tithe was essential the first form of taxes, and typically >50% of the grain produced by the peasants went up the hierarchy to the Church.
THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION
The industrial revolution spawned many new technologies that increased the average mans quality of life, providing him with more freedom and more prosperity. This industrial revolution took about 300 years.
Some of the more notable industrial technologies were the printing press and gunpowder. The printing press sped up the flow of information, which caused many Men to question the Church’s authority.
Gunpowder was invented by the Chinese, and it eventually made it’s way through the Middle East to Europe. When this new technology arrived in medieval Europe, an interesting thing started happening.
All of a sudden those skinny little merchants could now afford to buy a gun. And as more and more merchants purchased guns, it was no longer so easy to dominate an entire village with a small group of men on horseback.
This caused a major power shift, leading to the rise of industrial society and the NATION-STATE. Bear in mind, this idea of a “nation” has only been around for a few hundred years.
Industry and factories were also an immobile form of wealth, so they too could easily be taxed. This led to the current centralized power structure that we all know and love…
THE INFORMATION REVOLUTION
Lets recap for a minute. The agricultural revolution took thousands of years, which led to an increase of wealth and freedom for the average man. The industrial revolution took a few hundred years, leading to an increase of wealth and freedom for the average man.
Conclusion: The information revolution is happening within our lifetime, and it’s ultimately leading to an increase in wealth and freedom for the average man.
Think about it. The days of big industry and the much-glorified factory job are long gone. Nowadays, we have kids creating billion dollar companies that rise up almost overnight.
Here’s a newsflash in case you’ve been asleep… These are all Information-based businesses. The thing about information-based businesses, is that they are all highly mobile and not easily taxed.
I think by now you guys realize that Google and Apple and just about every website on Earth doesn’t pay taxes, right? Same goes for software and apps and most other information technologies…
Where’s the Internet located anyways?
My point here is that national governments and our current way of organizing society is completely f~~~ed, so that’s why everything seems to be crumbling all around us…
The reason the fore-mentioned technological revolutions are called REVOLUTIONS…. is because they always lead to a complete re-organization of the power structures in society.
If you guys think we’re in the Information Age because we have smartphones and facebook, think again. Moore’s law is just getting warmed up. We have driverless cars, virtual reality, augmented reality, 3d printing, and a zillion other exponential technologies that are coming, and they will likely improve our lives in multiple ways over the next 10-15 years.
THE INFORMATION AGE
Looking back on history, we can see that technology has only improved the average mans prosperity and freedom. The only time a technology can harm you is when you don’t understand it, or you refuse to adapt. This is called being a Luddite.(look it up)
Think about it: Can you name even one technology that resulted in a decrease of the average mans wealth or freedom?
The first thoughts we all have are typically based on fear, which is an emotion for girls. Having everything connected is indeed terrifying – if these systems are centralized…
So what does our high-tech future look like? Will we be living in George Orwell’s 1984? If technology does end up enslaving us, it would be the first time in human history that technology would have a negative effect on the average mans wealth and personal freedom…
Think about it. Has the Internet affected your life in a negative way? Has decentralized social media like MGTOW.com been a bad thing? Does the fact that everyone has a camera in their pocket help the power elites control us, or does it ultimately keep them accountable?
Call me crazy, but I think the more connected we become, the LESS power the governments of the world have. The psychopaths in charge can’t even fluoridate the water anymore without millions of people freaking out about it on twitter.
The future will be decentralized, and that’s a good thing.
The Internet, social media, solar panels, 3d printing, bitcoin, etc etc.
It’s all DECENTRALIZED. Centralized authority figures are a feature of the industrial age.
The Internet is already the 5th largest “nation” on Earth by GDP. If current trends continue, CYBERSPACE, not China, will become the largest economy on Earth by 2025.
So what does it all mean?
It’s my belief that the Information Age officially started on February 9th, 2011. This was the day that Bitcoin reached parity with the US dollar. Like it or not, it has since gone on to become the MOST VALUABLE CURRENCY UNIT ON THE PLANET.
Now honestly I’m not sure the particular algorithms behind Bitcoin will hold up over time. My point is that this is simply the first example of a decentralized, programmable form of money that isn’t under anyone’s control.
If your unfamiliar with Bitcoin and other digital currencies – These are not companies and these are not currencies. They are decentralized trust networks. There are multiple parties involved, each with it’s own checks and balances.
Developers, Miners, Exchanges, Merchant Processors, Wallet Providers, and Users all have a say in the system. The idea is that no one has control, and it’s insanely hard to update or change the code, because everyone has to reach consensus in order to update this open-source software.
The ledger is open to scrutiny (anyone can become a miner and run a bitcoin node, and have full access to the entire ledger), however these are numbered accounts. There’s enough transparency so that the average man can audit everything, but there’s enough anonymity to purchase pot and guns on the dark net.
There have been several supreme court precedents here in America, that make it very clear – Currency choice is considered freedom of speech. The government cannot f~~~ with this, as much as they would love to.
Either way it’s unstoppable because it’s just information. This network has over 7,000 nodes all over the world. The Bitcoin network just exceeded 1 exahash.
That’s an unfathomable amount of hashing power – more than the top 500 world supercomputers combined. There is literally more processing power going into keeping this network secure than Google or the NSA will ever have.
I understand many of you still prefer centralized currency. Nothing like having Big Brother to keep you safe.
See everyone is afraid of digital currency because we’ve all heard the NWO conspiracy theories. A one-world, CENTRALIZED digital currency is something we should definitely fear. An example of this is the US dollar, since it is global, 97% digital, and 100% centralized.
See, the crypt-anarchists beat them to it. Centralizing control over money is some seriously dangerous s~~~. Anyone who thinks decentralization is somehow a bad thing needs to get their head examined.
Name one technology that made the average man less prosperous or less free…
They don’t exist. Technology ultimately gives US the power not THEM.
Ya better watch out for that scary Bitcoin.
They might track ya…
They might print a trillion currency units…
They might shut off your account…OH WAIT… there is no THEY. It’s just an internet protocol, like email or TCP/IP… It’s simply a set of rules that everyone follows. F~~~ with the rules and you’re no longer in the network. Create extra currency units or a fraudulent transaction, AND THE INFORMATION WILL SIMPLY FLOW AROUND ANY NODES THAT ARE CORRUPTED/DAMAGED/HACKED…
This is why the government is so fearful of encryption.
PROSPER IN THE NEW FINANCIAL PARADIGM
The future of politics will not be left vs right.
It will be LAND vs CLOUD
The INTERNET is the new printing press.
CRYPTOCURRENCY is the new gunpowder.
Not my property... Not my problem
i’m slightly less optimistic as you…..but you have many valid points.
all western countries are so left wing….the harder you work, the higher your income tax rate…..its getting ridiculous in some places….combine federal, provincial/state, and municipal taxes…..way too much!
MGTOW is not a movement, it is a way of life.
I’ve got 2 Internet businesses I’m building, so by the time I’m 30 I will be in the cloud. I’m going to quit my job and just wander around Earth.
If I stay outside the country for 11 months out of the year, I can legally avoid paying taxes on the first $100,000 I earn.
The worst the economy gets, the better all my investments do. The more things crumble, the more profit I earn.
Precious metals, crypto, commodities, rental property, etc. All depression-proof.
I’m going to Dominate the transition into the Information Age.
Not my property... Not my problem
I figure that the world is unpredictable, so I try not to hold any expectations as to what will or won’t happen, but I must say, your post made for an interesting read. I’ll have to learn more about bitcoin.
Very good contribution. I think that due to the increase of information on the Internet, a control is almost impossible. Those responsible don´t know the questions they have to ask. There is no linear development in the digital age. The rulers are trying to make us believe that they have everything under control. But they have long been out of the game. The train has left towards Anarchy and total freedom. In each end lives a start.
Until all money is replaced with ditigal and everything is tracked.
Isn’t bitcoin just a barter system?
Love is just alimony waiting to happen. Visit mgtow.com.

Anonymous54Sorry i over simplify. Its seems to me every thing has invented has been to the detrament of Men.We have made life to easy for women, Now they take our jobs because there not busy washing close by hand. Ever try and drive a 46 Buik with no power steering? Manual gears with no syncronizers?( you had to double clutch..never mind) It seems to me that Men need to invent things that only .make MENS lives better.
dont be optimist about the future.
The sociopaths in goverment, suported by women in general and feminazis plus manginas will find a way to screw things up as usual.

Bitcoin is a digital commodity. The supply algorithm is built to resemble the extraction of gold. Except it’s easier to move across borders, and you can divide it down to .00000001
As of this precise moment, there exists 15,393,100 BTC. 25 new BTC are created every ten minutes. The supply caps at 21,000,000 units and no one can change that.
It goes on 4 year cycles. From 2008-2012, 50 new BTC were created every 10 minutes. In December of 2012, the supply halved to 25 new BTC issued every 10 minutes.
In July of this year, the issuance of new BTC drops to 12.5 new BTC every 10 minutes. About 100 days from now. 🙂
Just like in the early days of gold you could just pan it out of a river. It gets harder to “mine” BTC as time goes on.
As far as it being somewhat trackable, you are right. This is one of the things people get hung up on. If it was completely hidden, there would be no way for the average guy to audit the ledger.
These are numbered accounts, though if you buy some bitcoin with your bank account, they can be tracked along the way. There are a few ways to completely anonymize yourself, though I’ll admit it does take a bit of nerd knowledge.
The important thing is the user has 100% control over their private keys. As the network grows, and people increasingly stay within the BTC system as opposed to exchanging USD, it’s going to become more and more anonymous as time goes on.
Personally I don’t need complete anonymity for 99% of my transactions, and I don’t mind paying capital gains taxes and playing by the rules for the most part.
I like the fact that:
-no one can freeze my funds
-I have 100% control over my private keys / no counterparty risk
-I know what the exact supply is today, and also what it will be in 10 years, 20 years, 140 years into the future
-I can move across borders easily
-I have the option to be anonymous when I’d like to make a private transactionNot my property... Not my problem

Imagine a Bitcoin world. Government can’t just create a trillion bitcoins at whim, so that instantly kills the welfare system.
Taxes get difficult when everyone has a Swiss bank account in their pocket. The CFTC recently published a paper stating governments may need to adapt by raising consumption taxes and ending income/wealth taxes.
I see exactly where this is going. We’re moving from citizens to customers.
An honest money system would put everyone on an even playing field. Banks, Corporations, Governments, Individuals. Females can’t handle technology nor can they take responsibility for themselves.
I love gold but the only way that’s gonna work is if we hand our gold to the bank and let them give us a debit card. F~~~ that.
Not to mention there are lots of interesting things we can do with programmable money. Smart contracts that enforce themselves without need for courts.
If I buy/sell gold, it’s always $100 under or over the spot price. I can just click a few buttons, exchange my BTC for dollars and have them back in my traditional bank account in USD in a matter of 2 days. $1 or $2 over or under the spot price.
Plus I can’t take a $10 chunk out of a gold coin…

If any of you guys are interested, check out these 2 videos:
The Bitcoin Gospel
this is a good 45m intro. doesn’t get too technical
Andreas M. Antonopoulos educates Senate of Canada about Bitcoin
this is 2 hours, but this guy really breaks down the technical details well. He basically explains to the canadian senate that this is the new reality and theres nothing they can do about it.Keep in mind this is still early days and I still consider it a high-risk investment, though not as risky as most people would think.
I give it a 60-70% chance Bitcoin will succeed long term. My main concern is that a better cryptocurrency will come by. At this point it will be difficult to usurp Bitcoins network effects, but it’s still possible.
Not my property... Not my problem

Anonymous12I’m optimistic as well. The pendulum is swinging back the other way for a start, Feminists are not happy with Feminism and women in general are unhappy with the idea of freedom that they were promised as well.
I think the best times are still ahead of us.
I dream of a Bitcoin future.
No welfare, no taxes, no government.
Just private contractors.
In a Bitcoin universe, everyone would be on an equal playing field.
Digital democracy. Alimony, child support become unenforceable.
Instead of government and citizens, I think we are heading into a world where the only thing “government” will be able to do is offer to sell you a good or a service.
If Bitcoin or another cryptocurrency really takes off, this could be Judgement Day for the welfare parasites. I can’t wait for the day the checks stop coming in because daddy government is bankrupt.
Side note: A new update called Bitcoin Knots just got released. The reason it’s called Knots is because in the Bible, Jesus used the whip of KNOTS to kick the money changers out of the temple.
Apparently a few of the Bitcoin core developers are hard-core Christians. Personally I’m not religious, but I thought that was pretty cool. Lots of wisdom in that book.
Not my property... Not my problem

Anonymous42I dunno, my take on things are based in a childlike assessment of things, keeping it simple and examining the facts.
A society like ours has gone warp speed into every brand of corruption, and now we think the wheels to this wooden wagon aren’t going to come flying off?The culture shift with it’s notorious inequitable treatment of men has made it possible to extract from men (both directly and indirectly) by gestapo legislation. The outlook both demographically and chronologically doesn’t look good.
Multitudes of men (us) justifiably abandoning any form of legal connection to women (these days meaning you stared at them too long), so it’s my assumption that western countries will depopulate at alarming rates with eastern and middle eastern cultures filling in the void.
The only optimistic outlook is for the men that went MGTOW, they’ll be free to adapt the quickest and overcome. Ours is a logic of individual sovereignty must be held above all else.Theirs, to put it blunt, is a logic based in emotions and feel good as a monolithic “ONE”. A place where individuality is not allowed to exist.
This is what I see coming if this society doesn’t stop listening to women as if they’re the superior “ONE”.
Classic Monolithic vs. Individualism
or
Communism vs. Freedom
or
Female Nature vs. Male Nature…Boots on the ground with (again) Monolithic control over the internet will destroy any chance of a bit coin and its users from ever gaining “control”.
With Female nature now ruling in the voting booths by gaining 51% or greater, It makes us no longer a partner, but rather a subordinate.
With taxes being over 51% of the fruits of your labor, you’re no longer primary stock holder, you lose controlling interest in yourself, and become the victim of a hostel takeover, you no longer hold controlling interest over yourself, your sovereignty becomes dissolved.
And just wait until the chickens of promise they made come home to roost!
They’ll make laws that make it perfectly legal to raid “individual IRA’s” to further prop up the behemoth monolithic monster.
Zero trust, no more f~~~s to give, that’s what happens when men have been taken by the economic pump and dump rapists all slithering in the lap of extraordinary luxury, in the affluent and glorious pinnacle of WASHINGTON D.C.
Their cure is an endless stream of the same f~~~ing thing!Boots on the ground with (again) Monolithic control over the internet will destroy any chance of a bit coin and its users from ever gaining “control”.
I’ve looked at this up and down and just don’t see how governments can stop or control this.
In America, currency is a freedom of speech issue. There are many big money Bitcoiners and venture capitalist that have the bits to take this all the way to the supreme court if necessary.
Government and law typically lags 10 years behind in technology. These guys can’t even build an e-commerce website. Remember healthcare.gov?
I think the government(s) of the world are a lot less powerful than you think. The expression “the emperor has no clothes” comes to mind.
The source of all their power comes from being able to borrow trillions of dollars from the central banks, who just print it from nothing. And it looks like they are 1 or 2 more rounds of QE away from f~~~ing that up.
I look forward to watching their house of cards vaporize…
Not my property... Not my problem
I dream of a Bitcoin future.
Until Bitcoin has an army, police force, and judicial system, your dream is bulls~~~.
When they come knocking for taxes, alimony, or child support and you pretend you have no money or assets the government can seize because it’s all in “cryptocurrency”? Big Brother doesn’t care because he can seize you.
How much real money do you think you’ll suddenly be able to find when the choice is between either paying up or being shared between the Latin Kings, Bloods, Crips, and Aryan Nation as an oral and anal cum sponge?
Ultimately, any government’s authority doesn’t come from borrowing or printing money. Instead it comes from the application of raw physical force.
Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.
Big Brother doesn’t care because he can seize you.
So buy your bitcoins with cash, from a Bitcoin ATM…
What bitcoins?
Mobility is nice. Go start a new life somewhere else. With Bitcoin you have the whole world to choose from.

The US will go the way of the Soviet Union within the next 10 years.
How will they pay police when no one accepts their colored pieces of paper anymore?
Not my property... Not my problem

Anonymous3@sovereign,
There is a Russian saying that a pessimist is an informed optimist.
I think you are falling into a linear vision of history. A vision of progress and successive approaches to the present pinnacle of human development.Unfortunately, I believe this vision not to be true.
THE DAYS OF HUNTER-GATHERERS
As you all know, humanity began as nomadic tribes of hunter-gatherers. Climate change and other factors eventually led to the formation of agricultural societies. This agricultural revolution took thousands of years.
The present technological view of the world prevents us to see a very clear fact: it was necessary to master a great set of skills for humanity to survive in a hunter/gatherer world.
There is a TED video called “debunking the paleo-diet” that adresses the interesting point that humans change so many animals and plants to their advantage that they cannot begin to understand how hard it would be to survive before such changes. Video. In fact, I would state that the majority of people today would simply die in the wilderness. That alone should make us respect a little more the “primitives” that could survive in even worst conditions.
The unfortunate side of this, was that farmland is immobile and therefor prone to being conquered. Over time, various religions became the centers of power in this agricultural society. For the sake of this argument, I will focus on Europe and the rise of Christianity.
THAT is a big jump. You completely forget a huge number of civilizations, including the roman empire, that should teach us a lesson. And the lesson is that they crumbled.
Even more important is to notice that the farming techniques que allowed for the human population to explode would also deplete the soil, and in time contributed to the colapse.
Web page.In Feudal Europe, we had a system called Chivalry. Everyone pledged oaths of Chivalry to the Pope-King and the Church. In this system, a small group of maybe 10-12 men on horseback could dominate an entire village.
[…]
These groups would rape and pillage the peasants, demanding not taxes, but something called a tithe. The “Middle Ages” is one of the least understood historic period. I am a bit of a student of the era, as I practice HEMA (longsword).
The first mistake is top believe the knights where opressing the farmers, when in reality it was the other way around.
With the fall of Rome people lost the habitability to sustain trade or grow crops due to an apocalyptic mad-max type scenario. There was simply no safety anywhere, so people congregated in closed fortresses that where well defended by highly trained men-of-arms.
In return for this safety, the people had to provide for those that defend them. The nobles had the questionable honor of training for war since birth. Web page.
In fact the middle ages are so misunderstood that people ignore the great innovations of those times. They created new and more sustainable agricultural methods, and the monasteries where great centers of knowledge that avoid the total loss of Greek and Roman culture. Wikipedia.THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION
[…]
Some of the more notable industrial technologies were the printing press and gunpowder. The printing press sped up the flow of information, which caused many Men to question the Church’s authority.NEGATIVE. The printing press and gunpowder where a Middle Age invention.
Even the inquisition, a trademark of the Middle Ages, just started in earnest after the Renaissance, with the Protestant Reformation and the Catholic Counter-Reformation.All of a sudden those skinny little merchants could now afford to buy a gun. And as more and more merchants purchased guns, it was no longer so easy to dominate an entire village with a small group of men on horseback.
The knight on horse was obsolete BEFORE the gunpowder weapons became efective. It was a combination of tactics and new weapons (like the crossbow) that gave a common foot soldier the capability to kill the highly trained knight, even with his expensive armour.
THE INFORMATION REVOLUTION
[…]
Conclusion: The information revolution is happening within our lifetime, and it’s ultimately leading to an increase in wealth and freedom for the average man.Think about it. The days of big industry and the much-glorified factory job are long gone. Nowadays, we have kids creating billion dollar companies that rise up almost overnight.
Here comes the inevitable conclusion that all before us was bad, we are good and the future will be better.
Until the Renaissance people would consider the present to be a degeneration of the golden years of the past. Romans would always refer to the “holly antiquity”.
It is an extreme view, but at least it respected the past. What you fail to see is that the present society is a joke. Without the “big industry and the much-glorified factory job” there would be no present society.
The “kids” that run “billion dollar companies” actually use products that have to be build in a FACTORY. And that factory has workers.
What happens is that factories where shipped to the 3rd world to be manned by slave work, ignoring environmental concerns, and building ever more crappy equipment. And the crazy part is that crappy products are better because they get replaced faster therefore creating more demand.
And as all this is going on, we the westerners are only playing with money, buying cheap in the 3rd world and selling expensive here. This so called “services economy” is the ultimate joke. People that don’t produce anything, pretend to work for each other, and somehow are entitled to consume what everybody else is producing.
It is no wonder that feminism is rampart in the west. Consuming is a female thing, doing nothing while pretending to do much is a female thing, taking advantage of other people’s work is a female thing, and entitlement is a female thing. My friend, dont take my words the wrong way, but you have been sold a fairy tail.
Somehow you think that internet high-tech companies are the future because they do well in the stock market. But they are called “unicorns” by people that look for the real value of things, because most of them have been operating in loss, sustained by the market’s belief that they could get on board with the new “facebook”. Mostly this is a scam.
Money itself, even bitcoin, is meaningless. It is no substitute for physical goods that we can use. It is only useful when people take our money in exchange for the product of their work.
Actually producing something physical of real use is worth more than money. Money is only worth something because it can be exchanged by physical things.
To conclude, we should look to the past to realize that a society that is not sustainable is doomed. It is when a society believes that it is imune to failure, that life is easy, just fun and games, that it fails.
PS- Sorry for the probable English errors, its not my first language.
Mobility is nice. Go start a new life somewhere else. With Bitcoin you have the whole world to choose from.
Score a laugh point. Sovereign. I’ve worked in every continent except Antarctica and I’ve worked in more countries than you can name. Have you even been outside of the Anglosphere, outside of the West, or even overseas? And no, tourist resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean don’t count.
All your money is in BitCoins, Uncle Sam is knocking at the door, and you’ve decided to move.
How are you going to leave the country, genius?
You’ll need a passport, but you’ve got to pay Uncle Same for that. You’ll need a visa too, but you’ll have to pay Uncle Third World Hiding Place for it. You could have paid for both ahead of time, but do either Uncles take BitCoins?
You could smuggle yourself out of Uncle Sam Land and into your new Uncle’s patch, but do smugglers take BitCoins?
Your visa for Uncle Third World Hiding Place is going to run out after a while. Can you use BitCoins to renew it? If you cannot get an extension, will the local “constabulary” and other officials take bribes in BitCoins to let you stay? What happens when you get a tooth or tummy ache? Will the local dentists and doctors take BitCoins? How about food? Housing? Transport? Booze? Or a thousand other things?
While BitCoins will be more accepted and easier to use in countries with advanced economies and telecommunications, the problem is those are the same such countries require the most documentation for simple existence. You can easily hide without papers, visaa, and the like in some Laotian hill village, but you’re not going to be paying the locals for room and board with BitCoins. They’re “primitive” enough to want money they can use without a laptop, cellphone, and internet connection.
As Survivor succinctly explained, you’re tripping b~~~~. As ZenState expansively explained, you know next to nothing about history. And as I’m telling you now, you nothing about how the real world outside of your laptop works.
Ditch the dream and start learning about reality.
Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.
