I agree. I found them profoundly irritating from the start. I wiped them off my radar early on. Come to think of it, I’ve wiped most mass media from my mind too. Life is much better. Life is too short to let media types bother you. Shut them off and go enjoy yourself.

A few years ago, I stopped into my neighborhood coffee house for a cup of coffee. My local newspaper was sitting on the table, so I opened it up to see what liberal narrative was featured in that day’s addition. Half of the second page was dedicated to one of Kim Kardashian’s multiple marriages to another gangster thug rap musician. According to the article, Kardashian stormed out of the wedding reception in tears because of some petty issue (I recall it may have been some of the place settings were not straight). On the last page, which were the obituaries, I saw a small box about 3″ x 4″. It told how the previous week had been the highest recorded casualties in Iraq and Afghanistan. 16 men were killed, mostly by IEDs. A degenerate, and a dilettante’s temper tantrum got half a page coverage, and 16 combat troops who were killed got a small space on the last page. Tells you how depraved and broken our culture is.

The media pushes these turd magnets onto us, and thinks the Kardashians are somehow interesting and inspiring, or we should somehow think their depraved lifestyles are a badge of honor. I dismiss them as unworthy of a moment’s thought. Popular culture eats this up and praises them. Question is, we have to deal with those who buy into this, and venerate these degenerates. As much as we want to go our own way, and insulate ourselves from this, the media has to flaunt them in our faces at every opportunity. Like flies to feces.
