It’s all about projection and control. They falsely claim there’s a problem and use this fake problem as a means to control men.

While we knew this…very few people have questioned why. I posit, like everything else a female does, it has a practical purpose. This morning I believe I found it.

Brothers…allow me to introduce to you the Duluth Model. As of 2006, the Duluth Model is the most common Domestic Violence intervention program in the United States. It was developed in 1981. the Wiki is here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duluth_model#Criticism

Basically, the idea is that men use domestic violence within relationships to exercise power and control.

By 2006, it is the most commonly used Domestic Violence intervention program in the United States.

However, in 2007 it was disproved by Donald Dutton and Kenneth Corvo, their paper : The Duluth model: A data-impervious paradigm and a failed strategy, in part, because it relies on the existence…get ready for it…the Patriarchy backed by feminist theory. Further, it also flies in the face of multiple other credible and peer reviewed studies that clearly debunk the Duluth Model’s theories.

More importantly, CDC Researchers Daniel J. Whitaker, PhD, Tadesse Haileyesus, MS, Monica Swahn, PhD and Linda S. Saltzman, PhD, found that a surprising 70% of cases of non-reciprocal violence were perpetrated by women.

Further in 2007, Murray A. Straus of the Family Research Laboratory University of New Hampshire and Katreena Scott of the Department of Human Development and Applied Psychology OISE / University of Toronto wrote a paper entitled: “GENDER SYMMETRY IN PARTNER VIOLENCE: THE EVIDENCE, THE DENIAL, AND THE IMPLICATIONS FOR PRIMARY PREVENTION AND TREATMENT” that was published by the American Psychological Association in which they found:

“The available evidence clearly indicates that there are many similarities in PV (partner violence) perpetrated by men and women. Major and credible studies suggest that women perpetrate physical attacks on male partners at the same or higher rates as men attack female partners and that motives for PV are generally parallel for men and women.”

It further goes on to describe and outline the tactics feminists use to ignore and avoid the hard scientific facts regarding partner violence.

In summary, what this means is that the most commonly used scientific model in Domestic Violence enforcement is deeply flawed at its most basic level, because it assumes the existence of a mythical Patriarchy that promotes male violence to exercise power and control over women. Yet this assumption has never been credibly proven by any scientific research at all. This idea of a Patriarchy, as used by feminists, is a feminist construct created by activists, not scientists.

It’ll be interesting to see how long it takes before this flawed model is challenged in Courts of Law.

Same goes for the “Self Esteem Movement”. It was started by people that believed that if you pump up a child’s self esteem, that they will be happier and more successful. There has not been one peer reviewed article that supports this.

Thank you for this post. I enjoy reading sourced articles and opinions.

The Duluth Domestic Violence intervention model assumes male guilt prior to conviction because of the existence of a Patriarchy. I.e. guilt by association.

This flies in the face of the Constitutional Mandate of innocence until proven guilty.

As such, the Constitution should win and my guess is that once a legal scholar makes this argument in the Courts…it will go to the U.S. Supreme Court and win.

God forbid they take actual responsibility for their own actions. Always seem to be blaming men for their problems.

This is archive worthy material! KM and Co. I hope you read this and do so.

Also the fact that lesbian relationships have the highest amount of inter-partner violence only serves to prove that women commonly abuse their spouses. It’s just that it’s easier to scapegoat men than other women.

Duluth model brings the shame on otherwise good state of Minnesota. I’m ashamed to live in the same state where Duluth model came from. Every time I hear the term – I cringe.

Thanks for being here DDJ. Really glad to have you here
