I think he’s trying to ask “why are good men always the last option (resource) for a girl?”  Meaning, why do they go around and ride the carousel of bad boys, then settle with a good man.  I think he answered it him(?)self, though.  Resources are why.

When I saw the headline, I thought he was trying to ask, “why are good men used as a last resort for girls?”

Its a good question. Its a great question. Its the freakin’ eternal question.

Why do high school girls, who (unless hideously deformed land whales) can have their pick of boys because of the latter’s raging hormones and inexperience, instead go for older guys who only want them for sex? Why do college girls friendzone the guy who respects them, treats them like a human being, is in the same class as them (same interests etc) and actually wants to spend time with them, not just f~~~ them – then get s~~~-faced and f~~~ half a frat house? Why do 20-somethings prefer the abusive drug addict who treats them like s~~~ to the romantic guy who wants to look after them? Why do they prefer to get knocked up on the carousel rather than in a stable environment with a loving man? Why does this cycle continue until they hit the wall, whereat they grab hold of a simp because, as our ESL OP put it, the good man is their last resort?

If we can figure that one out we can come up with a cure and make a fortune selling it to lonely cat ladies who sit at home stroking their pussies and musing that despite following the feminist playbook to the letter, it feels like something has gone wrong…

Personally I have no answer, beyond, “coz them bitches be crazy!”
