Anonymous6Why is it that as a black man, I’m expected to do a certain thing? When you’re black, you’re expected to act a certain way. You have a guideline that tells you what to say, what not to say, how to vote and how to think. If you deviate from this guideline, you will be chastised and called everything but a child of God.
Why is group thinking so prevalent in the black community? Why must we always think the same, even when the results of that thinking turn out to be detrimental? When everyone is thinking the same, then nobody is thinking at all. Could it be that people are so set in their ways, that a change in thinking would force them to reflect on how they have lived up to this point? People often fall victim to their own personal bias and will not leave their comfort zones to embrace the unknown.
There was a story by Plato, entitled ‘The Cave’, and in that story, Plato talked about people living in a cave all their lives and choosing to never leave it. The people in the cave would see the light at the end of the cave but since they did not know what it was, they never went to it. The people in the cave were comfortable being in the cave and saw no reason to venture out into the unknown. Later on, in the story, a few people made up their minds to go outside of the cave and they found things to be better outside of the cave. Plato wrote that story as an allegory to describe what humans are prone to do when the thought of leaving our comfort zone comes up. But what is it about African Americans that keeps us stuck in that cave? Why can’t we progress as a community and succeed like other groups.
Every generation is supposed to build on the successes that the previous generation had. But what happens when the previous generation had no successes. What happens when generation after generation becomes stagnant. In order to progress as a people, we must rid ourselves of this group think mindset and embrace different ideas. The last thing that we should do is chastise each other over a difference of opinion.
How often do we talk to people with opposing viewpoints? How often do we talk to people from a different religion? You’re not talking to these people because you have to agree, you simply need to understand their point of view. The point here is not to judge or criticize, but to simply understand what people are thinking. We should learn to question everything. Question what you know, and question what you don’t know. Everybody is not right about everything. Don’t be so quick to shun away a viewpoint simply because you don’t agree with it.
One of my favorite college professor’s once told me that in order to truly be a scholar, you have to read everything. Read what you agree with and read what you don’t agree with. Doing this helps you to understand every side of a story and helps you to be a more well-rounded learner. I was asked how can I think the way that I do and still attempt to teach in predominantly black schools. My answer to that is simple, I plan to teach my students the truth. I plan to educate them on the topics we discuss, encourage a dialogue and come to conclusions with them. History is the wrong subject if you want to avoid controversy.
In a history class, there will be times when you come across topics that are controversial, and that’s when the learning begins. You don’t shy away from a subject, you talk about it and encourage the class to come to their own conclusions. That’s what learning is about. Too many times our classrooms are filled with activist’s ready to spew talking points, instead of educators’ ready to teach students to think. The job of a teacher is not to teach students what to think, the job is to teach them how to think. These students need teachers that actually want them to succeed. But the first component for doing that is having parents that are worth a damn.
Having parents that care about their child’s educational future makes all the difference. The child should get positive motivation from home, and again at school. This would stop them from going out into the street to find it. Many of these students just need a teacher that cares enough to listen to them. So that’s how i plan to teach. These kids need to know that they can do whatever they put their minds to. All it takes is faith and hard-work. These students can break the cycle of poverty and bad decisions currently plaguing the black community. The group think mindset has crippled blacks for the better part of half a century.
Right now, in America, black men lead the country in being the least educated and dropping out of high school. Black men fill this countries jails at a higher rate than any other group. That needs to change and change fast. Right now, in America, black women lead the country in having the most children out of wedlock. 75% of black children are born with no fathers in the home. Black women lead the country in having the most abortions and the most STD’s.
At what point did things get this bad? These are staggering numbers and yet there is no sense of urgency in the black community. There is no sense that these numbers need to change. In my lifetime, we have seen the black population in this country go from 16 percent of the population to where it currently sits at 12 percent. In just over 20 years, we have dropped 4 percentage points. I for one, would like to see the US Census Report in 2020. What happens when that number drops to 10 percent? What happens when it gets to single digits? We are literally killing ourselves out of existence. How can we say that Black Lives Matter when the main culprit in taking away black lives, are other black lives.
In the early 1900’s, Margaret Sanger created what is known today as Planned Parenthood. Her goal, as she stated was to “exterminate blacks, Hispanics and all other inferior races.” Saying that “We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population.” There is always a Planned Parenthood clinic in, or around black and Hispanic neighborhoods. Black children that never had a chance at life are killed every year out of convenience. Why subscribe to this mindset? It is black culture that is holding us back and it is black culture that has to change. Nobody with any sense can look back at the last 50 years and say, “Let’s keep doing what we’ve been doing”.
If you keep doing the things you have always done, you will keep getting the things you always get. Most people don’t even know these statistics even though they are readily available. We choose to sweep the problems under the rug instead of addressing them. Even the church has dropped the ball. The church used to be a place where truth was spoken and the Word was preached. Now it is full of the same sinners they claim to be against. It makes no sense to go to church dumb, and leave there just as dumb as you were when you first entered. Has the church gotten so money hungry that they won’t speak the truth for fear of making members angry, which results in less money being taken up? The church used to be a beacon for hope and slowly but surely, it has lost its influence. Many young people choose to not even attend church nowadays.
We as a people need to recognize that there is a problem, so that we can work together to solve it. We need to stop looking for government help and help ourselves. We cannot continue to look for outside help to fix an inside problem. The problems in the black community need to be solved by the black community. The answers to the questions in the 60’s are the same answers right now. Nothing has changed but the date. The question and answers have remained the same for years. Instead of going to a white owned bank we should go to black owned banks to get those car loans, accounts and mortgages. We should go to black owned insurance companies. We should go to black owned hospitals where we get just as good care, at fair prices. We should own, and police our neighborhoods. We should be able to own our own beauty supply stores.
The Asian community makes billions of dollars per year mostly from African Americans. So, while they are able to send their kids to school for free, we have to struggle to send our own. The unemployment rate in the black community rose exponentially over the last eight years. We should be able to own our businesses and hire our own people. When I think about business, I admire many in the Jewish community. They own different businesses and constantly refer people to each other’s business. At the end of the day, all the money they made stays between them and if they do not have a need for it, then they make sure it ends up in the hands of someone like them. That is how networking is supposed to be done. We can do business deals like that. Despite popular belief, money is not a bad word. In order to build a successful community, we need money to do it. Our neighborhoods don’t have to suffer from low property values, if we fix them ourselves. In my mind, these things are common sense. What’s wrong with having these ideas?
Why is it that these ideas work in other communities, but we won’t implement them to work in our own communities? We should be the creators and not the consumers. Business is not as difficult as one may think. Are we doomed as a people to a life of mediocrity or can we rise from the bottom of the barrel that we currently find ourselves in. We should hold each other accountable so that everybody in the community lives up to their responsibility and potential. Just like other groups take care of their own, we should take care of our own. Personal responsibility would fix most of the problems we currently face. These are the solutions that Dr. King, Malcom X, Ralph Abernathy, Marcus Garvey, Dr. Thomas Sowell, Dr. Walter Williams and many more talked about.
They all talked at length about these things, but nobody listened. We were too busy trying to have what white people had, we didn’t realize what we had ourselves. We got what we wanted but we lost what we had. In those days, the black family was together. Man, and wife both working together to raise children and those children were a lot better off. Now it’s rare to find a family that is intact. Society todays pushes the notion of sexual freedom, and promiscuity. Even children’s cartoons push these agendas. Disney being the most recent by having a children’s show where the main characters are gay. Their press release even stated that they “Want to be accepting of children of all backgrounds”.
People should stop subscribing to these things. These companies are grooming these children at early ages so that when they get old, they will think it’s normal. Target is another example, where they allowed people to use any bathroom they liked, no matter what their gender was.
They lost billions of dollars in revenue for doing so. These are the times where having a strong family unit is the most important. A mother and father that can work together to steer their children in the right direction. We can fix the problems that plague us, but it starts at the home. The place the devil will attack first, is the home. The place society will attack first, is the home. That’s why the home must not only be built on a strong foundation, that foundation must be spiritual. God doesn’t promise the absence of storms, but He does promise to walk with us through the storm. That’s the whole point of the Bible. God sends storms to people, to test them and see if they can keep His commandments. We have to be careful about what we subscribe too and what we allow children to subscribe to.
Stop thinking so much about what is expected of you and just be yourself.
I was called a terrorist a few days ago by someone on these forums because of my background. You think I gave a f~~~? Zero f~~~s given, bro.
Where is Carnage when you need him?
Anonymous6I was called a terrorist a few days ago by someone on these forums because of my background.?
Well you are quite proficient with Uranium lol
Wow, that was quite a post. To respond to every point would take a freaking book. I’ll just mention a few things that struck me.
Since you mentioned Plato, I suggest reading the Phaedo. It’s a difficult work, but far shorter than the Republic. The Phaedo is where Plato (through Socrates, per usual) teaches about the nature of identity. One of his points is that your body has very little to do with who you are. Granted, you wouldn’t be a complete person without your body, but you’d still be YOU. Your body, on the other hand, is just a bag of bones and flesh without your soul.
Be careful about placing too much importance on your race as part of your identity. Race is arbitrary. It’s simply the result of environment. It has no bearing on what you as a person choose to be or do with your life. You have great compassion for other members of your race, but I suggest you stop thinking of them as “your people” simply because they share your skin color (call me a racist, I’m anything but). It’s an arbitrary tribal identity. “Your people” are the people who are like YOU, not the ones who share your skin color. Your people engage with you in a relationship of mutual benefit; they don’t try to pressure you to conform to their standards or ideals.
The problem with the black community in America is welfare. Welfare destroys people. It makes them lazy and entitled. If you think blacks are doing badly, take a look at Native Americans. Their reservations are typically s~~~holes. Without welfare, black women would need husbands to support them, and the single mother epidemic would end overnight, and with it, the horrendous crime rates, which primarily stem from children raised by single mothers. But people never give up welfare once they’ve got it. I fear that nothing can be done until the government runs out of money, and then it may be too late.
I support your aspirations to be a teacher. I imagine you could do a lot of good molding the minds of young men. It would be awesome if we could teach together! Just be aware of the risks! Don’t be alone with female students, and don’t befriend them. It’s sad, but necessary.
Women are better at multitasking? Fucking up several things at once is not multitasking.
Venom, too much s~~~.
I ain’t reading all that, want some NFG 3000? You will see how people will expect from you and you won’t care, the f~~~ed up is when you don’t care that you don’t care.
Is… divine.
To those following me, be careful, I just farted. Men those beans are killers.
Are you referring to Plato’s Allegory of the Cave?
It’s a good work. I also read it in college and recommend it.

Great post Venom….
Just rolling down the road
Just FOCUS on being the MAN that YOU WANT to be.
In a World of Justin Beibers Be a Johnny Cash
Part of it is tribal identity — whether that tribe is race, religion, or ethnicity.
I know numerous middle class blacks who work hard, own their own homes, and are successful. Their offspring, typically behave similarly.
There is also a different tribe, I will call them ‘thugs’. They typically are the product of single mothers with limited means and education, concentrated in the urban core. They’re certainly not always black. But their offspring, are also likely to be thugs. Take Charles Manson. While white, he was the product of a 16-year old mother. Chad the Dad, had a first name, ‘Colonel’, he was a con artist, and acted like he was a Colonel in the military, to woo the laydeez into Hypergamy Overdrive.
We have a system that encourages multigenerational poverty, and encourages HIGHER fertility rates amongst thugs, than the general population. That said, the reason blacks as a percentage of the population is declining, is because hispanics have a higher fertility rate and there are more white and hispanic immigrants, than black immigrants. Blacks are not killing themselves out of existence; the ~15,000 murders per annum, are insignificant in terms of a black population that is ~50 million. I would like to see the thugs sterilized, though (of all races) — cut their prison sentence back if we can sterilize ’em. And sterilization as a condition for receiving over a certain amount of government benefits.
I think it’s great you want to be a teacher that cares. And you may get through to some punks (teaching in, say, an inner-city High School). But given their home lives, most will still fall through the cracks.
I never understood the dislike blacks have for Asian shopkeepers. Most Asians I know are tech and office workers — educated elite. But blacks are certainly free to open shops in the ‘hood and make money. It’s easier to sell drugs on the street — that attracts the entrepreneurial underclass more than being a shopkeeper. I’m white but if anything, I respect Asian culture.
I don’t like anybody ‘hiring their own people’. I always hire the BEST person for the job.
The single greatest change that would empower blacks is total legalization of all controlled substances. EVEN IF it led to more OD’s, that’s a short-term negative but a long-term positive (fewer unfit parents procreating the next generation of thugs). No longer will a significant fraction of blacks be in the slammer for non-violent offenses. They can deal smack on the street all day all night, but if they’re scoring the same as they would at a minimum wage retail job, the violence will decrease… THIS, not police violence, actually has significance. I also believe unjustified police abuses should be prosecuted, but that is not what is holding the urban underclass back.
The other ‘big change’ would be an end to the Public School system, with vouchers for private schools and trade schools, replacing the awful urban public schools. Vouchers and decriminalization of controlled substances, are issues that are 100 times more significant than police shootings.
Why is it that as a black man, I’m expected to do a certain thing? When you’re black, you’re expected to act a certain way. You have a guideline that tells you what to say, what not to say, how to vote and how to think. If you deviate from this guideline, you will be chastised and called everything but a child of God.
Venom, your top post was insightful, informative, and well written.
Venom, do not let the bulls~~~ get to you. I have talked to people whom have been alive for nearly a century.
The truth is the globalists have convinced their sycophantic useful idiots that the ‘nuclear family’ is the core evil of all bigotry.
Before welfare and legalized abortion most black men were upstanding citizens, with a stable job and good family.
Before affirmative action (which is racism against White men and Asian men), when a black man was in a position of authority, you knew that man EARNED his position. There was no question.
The Obama administration showed how affirmative action taken to its logical conclusion creates bigotry and division.
The system is already collapsing. The welfare whores are already starting to get the wake up call that their gravy train is ending.
As much as the useful idiots have tried to make it illegal to be pro-life, the legalization of abortion is still based on a court ruling and not an Constitutional Amendment. This ruling was the Dred Scott ruling of this era. Eventually, this evil ruling will be repealed one way or another. Once that happened the c~~~s will be forced to be responsible for their actions.
On a side note, when you study Socrates and Plato, you will eventually start to read about Diogenes, because Diogenes loved to poke holes in the beliefs of Socrates and Plato.
Plato may have invented the situation of virtual reality with “The Cave”, but Diogenes may have been the first person in history to take the red pill and live the MGTOW minimalist lifestyle.
Even Alexander the Great respects Diogenes. After Alexander met with Diogenes, he stated that if he was not Alexander he would have wanted to be Diogenes. Think about that. The most powerful and well respected man of his time openly stated that his plan B was to be like a man whom some considered to be no better than a dog.
Even Alexander the Great respected the proto-MGTOW outlook on life.
Anonymous6This was just me venting. Sometimes i just like to write when i get frustrated. The things stated here can apply for different groups of people. It’s just odd that people can see a bad decision, know that it is bad, and yet, still continue to make that bad decision. It’s baffling to me. The plus side is that we won’t have to compete with people like this. But too many people enjoy living in that Cave, and do not want to better themselves.
Anonymous7If Rachel Dolezal and Shawn King can be black then you can be White.
Welcome to your privilege cracker.
Next week @hitman has been instructed to teach you the secret handshake that all Whiteys know and then your training will be complete.Well you are quite proficient with Uranium
That’s besides the point. True, but not relevant to this conversation.
want some NFG 3000?
There you go, bro. That’s all you need right there. NFG 3000.
Faust: yes, welfare is crucial. Before the Great Society programs of LBJ, the Black family was as intact as the white family. That is, illegitimacy rates were similar amongst blacks and whites.
Racism is a problem, but in my opinion, the problem is not so much discrimination, as it is minorities BLAMING their individual failings on racism. This, more than racism itself, holds them back.
There is an obsession with race in the media, and government. Just another tool to divide the Sheeple to better control them. When asked what race you are on the Census, check ‘other’ and state ‘Human’. Don’t even give the bast@rds any demographic ammunition.
History is taught selectively. The most important topic of study in ‘Black studies’, should be why there are so many gangbangers and what to do about it. This will not be studied because it would lead to asking difficult questions about single mothers, drug laws, welfare, the public school system, and the obliteration of the black family.
Far easier to talk about ‘police violence’ as the central problem in the black community than to engage in such introspection. So that is what the media does.
I was actually just reading the platform of ‘The Movement for Black Lives’. Summary: policy demands for black power, freedom, and justice.
Note the word policy, as in ‘government policy’. The progressive politics that government remedies all problems. One aspect that does p~~~ me off is how working middle class blacks don’t call bulls~~~ on all this, and tell them YES, Black Lives Matter. The agenda starts with Personal Responsibility, which will elevate the Black underclass to the middle class.

Venom is right Carnage. His post is well thought out and comes from the heart. Even more, it is the TRUTH.
I do not like the fact that this is they way “they” want it. “They” do not want us to stop all of this petty b/s and be one with each other. If we do…They Lose.
Faust: yes, welfare is crucial. Before the Great Society programs of LBJ, the Black family was as intact as the white family. That is, illegitimacy rates were similar amongst blacks and whites.
To be fair, the white family is not intact for the younger generations.
For the latter half of generation X and younger it has been a s~~~show all around.
I do not know anyone forty or younger whom has been married for more than seven years. Most marriages I have seen of forty and younger do not last three years.
Racism is a problem, but in my opinion, the problem is not so much discrimination, as it is minorities BLAMING their individual failings on racism. This, more than racism itself, holds them back.
The problem is not bigotry but instead arrogance and greed.
Over half a century ago, those at the top decided the best way to stay in power was to destroy all culture and family ties for less fortunate than them. But, this is likely playing with fire and we are finally seeing the groups that create this mess be burned by the very fire they created.
There is an obsession with race in the media, and government.
That is a intentional red herring by them to cover their asses and maintain their power.
History is taught selectively.
Or, history is not taught at all.
Far easier to talk about ‘police violence’ as the central problem in the black community than to engage in such introspection.
Those doing so are stirring the pot they set to boil over.
I was actually just reading the platform of ‘The Movement for Black Lives’. Summary: policy demands for black power, freedom, and justice.
Please be aware that the term “black power” means for most people “black supremacist”.

I have wondered about that point myself.
Faust writes: To be fair, the white family is not intact for the younger generations.
True, I’ve literally joked with black guys that whitey WILL catch up and produce more b@stards and overtake you. They laughed their @sses off.
Probably half the men I work with are divorced.

I’m not as pessimistic as you about Progressive motives, but the results of the policies, speak for themselves, whatever their motivations.
There is an obsession with race in the media, and government.
That is a intentional red herring by them to cover their asses and maintain their power.
By focusing attention on racism, attention is diverted from personal responsibility. THAT is the tragedy.
History is taught selectively.
Faust writes: Or, history is not taught at all.
History is taught, students are not receptive to learning because they are ill-prepared. And they lack critical thinking skills. They are ‘consumers’ of entertainment, not an engaged citizenry. That is the case for 80-90% of the public.
I was actually just reading the platform of ‘The Movement for Black Lives’. Summary: policy demands for black power, freedom, and justice.
Faust writes: Please be aware that the term “black power” means for most people “black supremacist”.
Certainly it means many different things to different people; of course, I am familiar with the Black Panthers and the black radicals of the 196o’s, though they lived before I was born. To me what they are calling for now is greater political power/a higher percentage of Black representation in legislative, executive, and judicial branches of government, and police farces. This will actually make no difference whatsoever for the urban underclass. That is because their INDIVIDUAL decisions are the cause of their plight. If anything, more progressives on the school boards, of any color, for instance, make it LESS likely to implement school choice or competition or vouchers, for instance. ‘Black Power’ also means a tribalistic ideology — evil, just like ‘White Power’. However, media treatment of murderers like Huey Newton is positive (cries of ‘Free Huey’), whilst the public does not even know who Booker T. Washington was, to take one example of media contribution and lousy education.
One aspect that does p~~~ me off is how working middle class blacks don’t call bulls~~~ on all this
Faust writes: I have wondered about that point myself.
It varies by individuals, both white and black. Much of it is just more in-group thinking: Individuals support programs that support their Tribe — whether rural farmers wanting subsidies, or the underclass in the inner city demanding free housing. Like I tell my black buddies, “O. J. is guilty as hell, not because he’s black, but because he’s a murderer. He was a great football player but still a murderer.” O.J. is just one murderer, why he MATTERS is because it is part of the ideology of ‘in-group’ thinking. Unfortunately, all these Great Society programs have achieved is holding the underclass back.
Venom, you are one smart guy. Love your posts and its younger guys like you that have me fearing not so much for the future. Keep questioning reality. You are awesome!
It varies by individuals, both white and black. Much of it is just more in-group thinking: Individuals support programs that support their Tribe — whether rural farmers wanting subsidies, or the underclass in the inner city demanding free housing.
But please, do not do this and then scream ‘racism’ when someone else does it in a way that leave you at a disadvantage.
I didn’t read it all, but certainly got the point of people getting comfortable with their current situation. They don’t want to risk losing what they know they can deal with.
I also add that a big part of it is the victim mentality. If I don’t yell that life is unfair, then who will pay attention to me?
Maybe more so, is the fear of finally knowing if they ‘got it’. If you remove all the excuses for why you don’t succeed in life, then the only problem remaining is you. So women are going to always claim that it’s not fair, that they didn’t get a real chance, instead of acknowledging that they simply don’t have what it takes.
That last point is something that is definitely common among MGTOW as well. Men will blame women for not being interested in them, say that they are interested in the wrong things, so on and so on. They won’t acknowledge that they don’t really have what women want. They won’t let go of their anger because the anger allows them to ignore any shortcomings they may have. The better state to be in is, regardless of whether women are interested or not, I’m not interested. It’s a fine line to distinguish for sure, but one that brings greater peace of mine and separation from falling back under the influence when conditions temporarily change.
Ok. Then do it.
