I just wondered if anybody in here understood the origin of our modern money.

Always expect the unexpected and gird your loins appropriately. It's a no-fault jungle out there.

the federal reserve prints it out of nothing…….look up Quantitative easing where they printed out trillions….this makes the value go down. Compared to 100 yrs ago, the usd has lost 96% of its value.

MGTOW is not a movement, it is a way of life.

its fiat currency, it has no intrinsic value, it has long been decoupled from the gold standard.

    lets make a thought experiment.
if tomorrow the goverment replaced all the banknotes with monopoly money, whats the diference?

    NONE.

The only thing that keeps fiat currency working is blinding ignorance of the masses about how money works coupled with wishful thinking.

I suggest watching “The American Dream” on YouTube.

Don't stick your dick into anyone you aren't willing to put up with for eighteen years and nine months.

The current money system is just like the money systems from the early centuries, fiat, barter, etc. Guess what, they all failed and were replaced by another system. Today though there are no new worlds to discover, no new continents to flee to, no way to get away from globalization or taxation. When money systems fail, the impacts will be felt around the world, unless you have a rocket ship to find new lands on another world :-).
