That was the first thing which came to my mind too.

Either the escorts in question were cops or, perhaps more likely, the escorts in question thought Ancient Wisdom was a cop.

Again, it depends and there is a spectrum.

A meth head working a truck stop parking lot, a crack addicted street walker, or an illegal immigrant working at a “rub & tug” parlor are all very different from an escort getting $500, $1000, or more an hour, who can and does refuse work, who only works one or two clients one or two nights week, and who may be exclusive just a few clients.

It’s sort of a matter of “mileage”.
