We all have someone who we look up to, or want to be like our whole lives. I always wanted to be like Conan the Barbarian, the original Leonardo from Ninja Turtles growing up, because I want to be strong, skilled and powerful.

Who did you idolize or want to be like through out your lives?

In Youth: James Hetfield, Salvador Dali, Nietzsche (didnt know any better…)

In Adolescence: Maynard, Sam Harris, (still lost but finding answers

I looked up to Stardusk for awhile but realized what it must be like in his shoes. Hes just a man, a rather imperfect one really.

I do not idolize people anymore, only high art forms.

There was a time when I was mad keen on rock climbing and I used to look up to some of the great names but then I got better at it and actually met and climbed with a few of them and soon learned that they were admirable for their determination, dedication to their goals and for backing themselves in the face of challenges but they were all rather selfish men who had made too much of a strange and slightly dangerous hobby. Time to quit and get back to the real world before I became one of them.

Other than that minor lapse I have always admired the traditional sort of hero -men who led men or nations and conquered stuff. Of these Churchill, Wellington, Napoleon, Alfred the great and Julius Caesar would be examples.

A woman is like fire -fun to play with, can warm you through and cook your food, needs constant feeding, can burn you and consume all you own

The evil in women’s hearts leaves them no moral bounds as to inhibit them from descending to the lowest levels of darkness to acquire their self entitled desires.

When I was a kid, I liked to watch auto racing on TV. I wanted to be like A.J. Foyt and Richard Petty.

I admire a lot of people. I like guitar players (Eddie Van Halen, Alex Lifeson). I like seeing computer programmers turn a small startup to a multi-million dollar business. Lately, it’s been hard to idolize people because each person has personal problems. Sometimes the people I admire the most have problems with drug addiction. I want to be successful at something, but I don’t want scandals and major problems. I want to be the best version of myself.

"I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win-and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)

I wouldn’t say I idolise anyone but I look up to certain people.

One being Nikola Tesla for being true MGTOW.

Others being the Stoics – Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, Epictetus, Musonius Rufus.

The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape, finding oneself in the ranks of the insane. Marcus Aurelius

I do admire dead philosophers and true Buddhist monks.

But I don’t know if I really should.

Maybe the philosophers were jerks and maybe the monks are worse. I doubt it, but most people I’ve admired so far ended up disappointing me. So, no more of that. I admire ideals and strive for them, sometimes.

By the way, it’s raining like crazy here. I love it. Nothing more calming than the sound of heavy rain on sheet metal roofing. lol

Bob Carver. Other MGTOW MEN that have taken control of their lives. Carnage. The person that made me realize what no f)u)c)k)s Given really means.

There are so many people that I met in jail that for the first time I understand what the rage is about Nietzsche; Something that I was surprised to hear from a drug dealer and a Heroin Addict. It was a great quote. I wish I wrote it down.

All in all, I think it’s healthy to simply admire yourself. Men forget to do that.

You are all alone. If you have been falsely accused of RAPE, DV, PLEASE let all men know about the people who did this. http://register-her.net/web/guest/home
