Yes feminism and gynocentrism had already begun by then, albeit in small amounts.

Divorce was already legal… Women had started being allowed into universities… Headcovering had ended in the majority of places… Wife beating had been outlawed… Many men were with women leaving the house and being seen in public unnecessarily and the bitches could make many of their own decisions… and a few years later they even got the right to vote!!

Women have been and always will be solely about themselves, it’s in their nature. World war one was the beginning of the social experiments by the Rockefellers and Rothschilds to help promote moral and political power and or support during a very unpopular war, which most enlightened able bodied men thought they should stay out of because it was a European issue. Despite the unpopularity of the conflict, over millions signed up for the trenches. They (Women) IMO should’ve died out there just as the men did, but that’s what social experiments are about, creating turmoil and dysfunction among the people or sexes.

Burka is just an extreme version of headcovering, which has been prescribed for women since time immemorial (rightly so, if I may add)…. and remained everywhere till before the 20th century. If I’m not mistaken pre-Islamic Arabs practised face-covering and believed in Genies, from where these traditions have come. Either way:

Christian

Ancient Greece (minimum requirement was headband)

Anient West Asia/Eastern Europe

Berbers retained some pre-Islamic tradition like just headcovering, not facecovering

Africa

Egypt

Ancient Rome

Jewish
