With wide-spread censorship of many online platforms for communication and dissemination of information, and the more recent deep-biasing of google towards SJW madness; what, then, are the last bastions of free speech online?

… one could even suggest that these would be the last bastions of free speech anywhere- Knowing what the newspapers are like (left leaning and horribly exaggerated or altered).

This forum is one of the last bastions of free speech. Here, you can offend anyone and no one will care. I like being an offensive asshole anyway. It keeps nosy women away from me.

That said, how many people here are actually offended by opposing ideas or opinions? I’m speaking for many here but I think I’m right when I say; We’ve got b~~~~, and backbone and some degree of self-confidence, so when we encounter an opposing idea, it doesn’t bother us because we can just accept that someone else has a different opinion, maybe we’re right maybe we’re wrong but it doesn’t matter because we are secure in ourselves and our beliefs.

(some of us are even ready to change those ideas in the face of new information which disproves previously held ideas!!! shocking!!!)

I think, there is no absolute free speech anywhere. First Amendment seems to be watered down, and there is no such thing in the laws of other countries. (on the contrary, there are hate-speech laws for example to limit free speech) That’s all about legal situation.

Technically:
Just look at the drug dealer / pedophile / terrorist gun-trader deep web stuff getting shut down. (And I guess those criminals do know the best, how to remain invisible.) I’m not supporting any of these bad things, but, technically an oppressive government (or, more of them allied internationally) can use the very same tools against whatever they want to. For example, against not politically correct, so-called hate-speech, investigative journalists, whoever they don’t like for any reason.

Technically speaking, also the deep web stuff can be tracked back to individuals. By using computer viruses and such stuff, so that they get anything, before it is encrypted. Have a look at Vault 7 and hacking stories! We are using many overly complex, not well optimized software, that is full of mistakes, back doors, vulnerabilities. That is true on the hardware level too. A f~~~ing telephone or car or household gadget has gazillion lines of code, even if everything was possible with much more simple solutions decades ago. And everyone in capitalist competition is “I want to be first on the market with that brand new gadget / software” and forgetting about debugging it first really well. Quality is the victim of hurry all the time. So malware rises.

In cases that cannot be handled by malware / mass surveillance (like personal meetings away from civilization in a forest/cave and no electronics at all), the old-school building in of undercover agents may still work.

So to summarize, there is technically no free speech for now. It only depends on how much the oppressors want to go against someone / something.

I totally agree, this is the only place where i don’t feel any grudges upon anyone. At some point we may not see eye to eye but we discuss it like a man, in the end nobody would get butthurt.

I get you, but we have this (mgtow.com) and we can talk here.

4chan is pretty free too, although biased towards extreme racism and neo-nazis, you can say anything there (and get instantly trolled) but some actual discourse of new ideas arises because there is practically NO censorship whatsoever.

That is why I searched for a man only group and found MGTOW. I was searching for it long before MGTOW existed and knew that men will go away and form their own Freemasonry. And the worst part is, that those, who want to censor the internet, have control over the laws, and the internet service providers, and probably over the companies who issue the certificates used for https (to do man-in-the-middle attacks), and everything else.

And they may just block all the VPN, TOR, and unknown or encrypted data packets in general. (“encryption” possible only at sites / applications where it can be decrypted at will of the oppressor, nowhere else )

And white-list sites that are allowed (instead of blocking the unwanted ones). So that people can watch only the politically correct news, and comments / social media stuff censored. (Machine learning also might get to a level, where it is no problem for it to understand natural language, speech, pictures, whatever in real time as a human, and at a nation’s scale real time, a real “big brother” in a decade or two. Many politicians are/were power-hungry psychos in every age, but at least in the past the people could organize against oppression, and in the near future, any such organization would be stopped at the first sentences. Sounds very scary to me, but this is the direction of the things as I see.)
