I say it depends on why you are getting it. With myself, if I had a lot of money, and my finances were set, I wouldn’t mind getting a BMW. I don’t need a lot of speed for the road, but an excellent high-tech ride I would find interesting for my own personal interests.

I also do have a Bond fantasy that I may want to do sometime. Drive an expensive car, have a sexy woman on my arm and play a top game at a casino. It isn’t going to happen most likely. I would want to do Pai Gow poker. This is just for myself, and I can take it or leave it.

I am not up for doing anything to impress anyone with a false front. I am doing things because I need to, and they reflect who I am.

I got a bright-ass orange 2013 Camaro because I wanted it, not to get attention from sluts. I also paid cash for it because I was able to save up a pile of dough since I have no women controlling my spending.

Going my own way, and leaving soccer moms in SUVs in the dust.

I don’t know about fancy, but if you have a bad-ass car you can Go Your Own Way more quickly and in greater comfort.
If I had a trunkload of spare cash, heck yeah I might get a “fancy” car, but because I wanted it. Hell, most women don’t know much about cars anyway. Put a loud muffler on it and a Corolla will wet some panties.
I have a ’70 240Z. Most women don’t even know what that is because it has no back seat, so there is no place for child seats. My other car is a little Chevy SUV because it snows here, sometimes a lot. Not a whole lotta chick magnet going on I guess. Boo-hoo.

I’d love to have the coin to have a custom classic car project, but right now I’m happy with the four door sedan.

I don’t even own a car so low down my list of priorities they are. If you want to go fast and have the full 100% undiluted experience then get a motorbike. It dosen’t even matter which one you get because they are all better than cars.

I still remember the first time I talked about cars with girls.
    They liked anything expensive.

    Me I like:
Old porshe replicas, lotus Elise, mustang fastback and some old models from american muscle cars.

Every time I would show those cars to girls they would look at me weird, not understanding that the car is actually worth that cash for me instead of “it looks like its worth that much”.

So for me? A car is not required (I dont own one atm), but if one day my cashflow is so good that I can choose any car I want, Ill get one of the models I like, not one that gets me laid.
