Arguably the most aggravating words any woman can utter.  To me a person who “grew up” by today’s standards is some castrated pussy whipped beaten down pink shirt wearing loser who is void of passion and independent thought.  Growing up means you work 60+ hours a week at a job you hate so you can spend your money on keeping a wife entertained so she won’t leave your ass and take everything.  I guess I’ll just stay immature and enjoy my life by actively pursuing a career I love and indulging in the things I like.

I know at least a couple of men like that. I was actually a little bit shocked when I arrived here in Canada and saw these “happy” married men. It is like they were, as you said, castrated. Thanks, but no thanks. I rather be an eternal “child” with my b~~~~, and my freedom, then a “grown” up eunuch slave.

I have to grow old, then die. Nowhere does it say that I have to grow up. I get the impression that a lot of people equate “growing up” with NOT enjoying life to the fullest of an individuals ability. I enjoy my life, all the ups and downs. I am living, I guess I’ll grow up when they finally bury me and plant a tree on my grave. Until then…. well f~~~ it, I am carrying on carrying on.

There was a time in my life when I gave a fuck. Now you have to pay ME for it

They are psychologically incapable. If they tell you to grow up, and you want to be nice, also assuming you are in the US where statistics show that most people at least believe in some kind of god, tell them “All Jesus did was hang out with his friends and do what he wanted. He never married or sought a wife. Are you saying Jesus was immature?” This will shut up pretty much any Christian. If you know for a fact that they aren’t, just tell them they can f~~~ off, their opinion is worth exactly negative infinity.

Neverrrr never never never. What the f~~~ would I do that for?

Growing up is the worst thing you can do. The only difference between me now and 40 years ago? ……. they let me play with the real version of my toys 😀

If they could see what’s going on in my head ….. they’d fire my ass 😆

“Grown up” sounds like a man stopped growing. It has the ring of finality about it. Methinks I’ll do my best to keep on growing … outside the cage and shackles.

Telling us to grow up is basically another way to guilt us into doing what they want, essentially its just another way for them to question our masculinity. The sad thing is that it works on a lot of men. Which is why, everytime someone tells me to grow up, I tell them to f~~~ off.

“Growing up” = becoming a tool for women and society. Busting your ass off to fix this broken society and gettting nothing in return? Yeah, sure makes me want to “grow up”.
It’d be great if they  started understanding that mgtow’s are impervious to shaming tactics. They’re wasting their time. Not like they would do anything worthwhile with it anyway.

These guys, really, it’s like they nearly manage to convince themselves that they’re happy, lmao.

I am a diagnosed Asperger’s Patient, so a woman cannot expect me to grow up. I am mentally incapable of it. Yet in my mind, a world unravels, fueled by literature and the occasional pop culture reference. I have Interests, you have a body. Git gud, woman.

On another note, Women don’t seem to develop interests up until the point where they realize they are losing their sexual edge.

Telling us to grow up is basically another way to guilt us into doing what they want

You presumably mean they say things like: “Yes sure go right ahead and evolve, but please in the way we (society) see fit for you to. For a long time I heard my mom say such things ie.: “Oh, you don’t really want to this, you want to do that, because that’s what other people do…” To which I always replied: “Mom, for god sake try to accept that I am well and truly not like other people, nor do I like to be, get it straight.” Because whenever I hear her making such a remark, all I am hearing is: “Adapt and be normal…!” And within a country that is largely defined by so-called “norms”, to me there is not any notion that is less appealing but repugnant to me as in fitting a “norm”, ever since my teenage years when the whole journey of my personal evolution and development kicked in at full force and hasn’t stopped a bit since then, which I am grateful and glad about…

I'd rather die a natual death with a clear MGTOW conscience somewhere off the grid than one within "modern" civilisation with a big stress mark on my forehead and a couple of dozen tubes plugged into my body. Back to the plantation..? Me..? Hey, literally: I won't ever fucking kid myself...YZERLMNTSIC

So what exactly is a “Grown Up” anyway?

To me when women say it to men it is a form of manipulation, like that other classic that women like to utter “Be a man” they sometimes add Grow Up to the start of that one as well. But when have men at any time said to women “Be a woman” you just wouldn’t say it, not just because they would shoot you and get away with it but because it’s just such an arrogant and ignorant thing to say to someone.

When I think of my grandparents who were “Grown Up” I see people who never had anything they really enjoyed doing and everything they did do was related to work in some way. I guess if you wanted to you could call that grown up.

I work, I earn a good living, I have no debt, I am well off and I take responsibility for my actions. To me that is all the “Grown Up” stuff that I have to do. Besides have you seen how much immature s~~~ women are into?

I too was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome 6 years ago. It added a lot of clarity to why I was always so different from other people. I would never naturally fit in. I found a gf who was very understanding of my inability to process social cues and emotions but would often complain just wish i could just be like “other guys” i.e. alpha males. Asperger’s made swallowing the red pill much easier for me to see through her nonsense and often I felt I was always being forced to put on a mask to make her happy and stay. She constantly told me to “grow up” and not be childish whenever I questioned her irrational behavior. I’ve constantly noticed that women hate when they are questioned on their nature/character and sincerely believe that by shaming your maturity or masculinity, you’ll fall in line. However, I’m the kind of person who questions almost everything (within reason of course) and I’ve realized a lot of women are incapable of thinking on a deep level and pretend to in order to sound interesting. Consequently they are usually the childish ones, yet their childishness is seen as “cute” and “endearing” in modern society. My response to people telling me to “grow up and marry” is that i have 1) received a college degree 2) i am employed 3) pay taxes and bills 4) maintain my creativity and intelligence via my hobbies and interests 5) have a positive social circle consisting of family and close friends that support me. Marriage is great for most, but my needs are already fulfilled and no women is every going to add anything to that list that I don’t already have.

I have discovered a truly remarkable list of reasons why women are not necessary for a happy life, but alas this margin is too small to contain it.

If a woman tells you to grow up, ask her what she means by that.

If a woman tells you to be a good man, ask her what that means to her.  Point out to her that if she gets to define what a good man is then you get to define what a good woman is.  When she disagrees, ask her what it means to be a good woman.  I’ve found most women cannot readily provide a reply.  And most who do give a definition that is entirely self-serving.

Women say they like a good listener.  They say they like to be asked questions.  Stay calm.  Ask GOOD questions, and then listen carefully to them as they conduct their wildly complex intellectual tap dance that absolves them of all personal responsibility and accountability.  You’ll be enormously amused, I promise you.  I’ve found that if you actually bother to listen to a women talk about the big issues in life, they’ll rapidly expose themselves as the users they are.  The best is when they start to realize how contradicted their narrative is.  Typical reaction will be to get angry at you, call you an asshole, make a scene, etc.  Its the best.

I have been an adult for over 20 years for which one seventh involved being in a relationship. I believe that experience made me “grow up” far more than if I was in a relationship for all that time.

Never! my father is red-pill and I see it first hand; my uncle and father both work as correction officers in the DOC, and yeah they do make good money, working at the same place. My dad doesn’t give a s~~~ and stayed co1, works the maximum security post. He actually said; that he would have a drink at the bar with most inmates, to the point… he has a girlfriend but rents a studio apartment, so he can just have toys: pistols, assault rifle collection, brand new car, a 4×4 xterra, also a collection of motorcycles: klr 650, dr 650, ktm 525 exc, yz 250, and the new husqvarna tr650, why he has all of that I don’t know, you only have one ass, he also geo caches, and kayaks, he does give his girlfriend ultimatums, she knows her place, if she f~~~s up… all that s~~~… gone. My father also tells me (he’s 50) of how many 25yr old woman always hit on him (no s~~~). he does what he wants

My uncle works at the same place, but is a Sgt. he is up in the 6 figures (united states prison system for you lol) HE is the ultimate mangina to my aunt BIG TIME, he does not have any of that s~~~, just a big f~~~ing house that take 1 week to upkeep, it takes 3 days to mow the f~~~ing yard, but… that’s what she wanted, a big farm house and 40 acres of land, this place looks like a petting zoo ALL FOR HER! he can’t spend a dime of his own money, she will f~~~ing flip! infact his facebook friends have to be approved by HER. Recently, driving past their house, his fully loaded Honda Goldwing with a trailer was sitting in the yard with a FOR SALE sign on it. hahahaha! sorry uncle bob 🙁 f~~~ that.

To the two who mentioned being A.S sufferers.
    Make that 3!

My ex-girlfriend could not stand one question in particular – Why?

She HATED it. Really badly. I mean whenever I questioned a social norm or something I genuinely wanted understanding about that did not make sense to me about human behaviour, often she would have no answer other than: “it just is! I can’t explain it”.  Which just proves what bulls~~~ some of it all is. She didn’t even know why she did or said things she said, it’s just what society taught her, but she didn’t know why!
